chicky and maria Have loved following the discussion and all the links about the underground and London stitching. THe buggy is fab. Didin't someone on here stitch one of these designs? I seem to remember seeing he emergence of the red bus from the greys of Piccadilly Circus. If you stitch all 3 they will look fabulous framed together.0 -

I like the house one too http://www.crosstitch.com/search?f=114lbfam12
I jsut adore these designs and having stitched Let's Sew I would love to do more. There are also some small word designs of hers in the current issue of Cross Stitch Card Shop - I think Louise stitched one of them.0 -

I bought my copy of Let's Sew from there at a show in 2012 - I don't think she has a website but she does respond to emails.0 -

I can't sew - i can put a button on, turn up trousers, and of course cross stitch and do a few specialality stitches but make an item of clothing - nope. So don't think I will be watching it. But I am sure you will enjoy - you are so talented. Some one suggested to me to make the purple works in to cushions but I think I will frame them - easier for me to do. Seen some frames on Ikeas website but don't know if they will look ok - might have to take my stitching with me when I look at them in person.
Off to do some work on my hearts
Kind wishes to all

I'm freezing today! Can't get my hands warm. Considering putting gloves on! I know...lol!
Anyway, I was just having a look at some websites to see if anything takes my fancy to look out for at the Excel show later this week and I found some London themed evenweave/aida on Sew It All. http://www.sewitall.com/webshop/evenweave-fabric/133-28ct-11pts-cm/big-ben-evenweave-28
They have Eiffel tower, snowflakes, bears and confetti too. Hope they have them at the show. Sew It All have been at every other show I've been to, so pretty sure they'll be there this time too. Also hoping Historical Sampler company and The Nimble Thimble will have stands, but I can't find an exhibitors list anywhere.
ETA-found one. Sew It All will be there. As will Black Sheep & Craft Lines of Essex (used to be a lovely shop near me, but closed down & website is expensive & quite frankly, a bit pants!). Ah well, looks like my money will be spent on the fudge stall instead! Lol!Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

If you want it on a cushion, why don't you sew it on to a plain cushion cover... then you don't have to make the cushion0 -

I'm sure the London Transport people won't mind if you re-route the circle line slightly.

I can't sew either (i do try but I can't), i just don't have the patience and can't make my sewing machine do a straight line..... but am watching it cause there is naff all else on and nothing recorded that I fancy watching.
Had a blinding headache yesterday and still not sure if it was a migrane or sinus one. Had naff all sleep (even tho i fell asleep by 8.30) cause it hurt so much (more if i lay on my right side).
I eventually drowned it out with nurofen migrane and sudofed tablets that i went out at 9.30 to get and it's now returning so have just taken another batch of tablets.
I realllly want to get another figure done tho as been abandoning it latly cause it's soo huge and bulky - even on my new frame.
Away on holiday from Friday so I need something small and easy to take............. seems a good excuse to buy the downloadable chocolate chart if you ask meloves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

I doubt it. It's not even a proper circle line anymore, now they've added that silly extra bit to it! It's a circle line with a tail now!

Not sure. Some things work on patterned fabric. I've seen a flower stitched on that swirly aida that works, but I never would've done that. I like the paw print one and was thinking about stitching the LK 'cat lessons' on it...what do you think?

i guess it depends how dark the pattern is......I love the actual cross stitch..........sorry I'm back to words again but how about this one on paw prints??
Now not sure how much I love the chocolate one (not got it yet). the little pictures look tacky
Plus I rarly do anything 'just for me' as I never have anything on display.
I could make some working copies of the small ones and do them I spose - I did like them lots.
my mum finalllllyyy got her "IF" last week lol. she loved it and was even more pleased that I'd remembered it was her favourite poem.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0
