chickywiggle - the thread order was with across town stitching. She has put on her facebook that she has low stocks of thread and waiting for more. I only read this this weekend, no e-mails telling me this! I'm guessing its this time of year being after Christmas...

Same here! Just checked paypal and I ordered 28th December, like you no emails or such, just saw on facebook.0 -
Oh....wow.....I wish I had the time (and an uncluttered wish list) to do something like this:

Stunning
You seem to be spending a lot of time on that site
So far I have resisted the temptations that your links put in my way but I don't have an unlimited supply of will power:rotfl:0 -

after watching the weather forecast for friday im thinking if im snowed in will be a great opportunity to do some stitching
need to have a good catch up of the thread will pop back later
It would be a real shame if you felt you couldn't join in because of your slow stitching progress - it isn't a race or a competition and we all have other things that get in the way of our stitching0 -
stitcher and jcs that is a long wait. i was disapointed with her send times before christmas. her facebook is always saying how she's just had a large thread delivery etc so not sure how she can be low but i would expect her to post some and the others follow if she cannot do it in a certain time.
i think she only posts orders out once a week.
Be careful as well with paypal - you only have 45 days to request a refund. it annoys me companies who take money well before they dispatch when they don't have the stock.
could save don't be embarrased just update when you want - no one checks how much you've done in what time.loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Thanks Chicky, just put a reminder in diary at work for the 28th Jan to raise a dispute if not received by then.0

Does anyone know where to get 20/21 DMC colours cheap? the design is only 22 x 26.5cm so i doubt i'll need full skeins. This is the design Remembrance FieldsCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0

I'm still working on the Kiri cover kit that I started after crimble which I imagine (I think it was Flat Eric?) has prob finished ages ago. I also haven't finished the snowman one either. My point is just take your time and enjoy it. I'm always impressed by the speed and quality of work on here but know with practice my own will slowly improve. I rarely post progress pics but do aim to post once complete whenever that may be. I'm altering the kiri design to make it suitable for mother's day rather than valentines. I also go through periods where I completely lose my stitching mojo for weeks/months at a time and I've not even been stitching for a year yet.0 -

Sorry I can't really help, I have always used acrosstown without any problems. I just wanted to say I love the design you have chosen, is it for you or are you stitching as a gift?
Excuseany typos I make btw, I got a keyboard case for my kindle

I'm not sure what i'm doing with it, but i'm stitching it in memory of my granda that passed away last year. I may keep it or give it to my mum, undecided yetCross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0
