I rolled out of bed after nine after getting to bed after 2am. Despite not actually drinking very much last night, I feel rotton and its just taken me about ten mins to work out which grill setting I need to select  to cook my bacon sandwiches. (i can either have 2 rings or 4 rings - not much of a choice) :rotfl:

I hope to manage some stitching later. Very glad that I can have an early night tonight and glad that although its back to work, its only half a week.

Also my dryathlon challenge has started ! so no alcohol for a month for me! pleased about this but not too keen on the sight of all the alcohol that I bought and didn't get drunk over xmas. Considering giving up alcohol until April. Hmm that would be a challenge!
  • Flat Eric hubby is doing it to good luck to you x

  • Happy New Year everyone!

Got a little bit of stitching done last night, but then had a mammoth game of Monopoly with DH (who says we don't know how to party?!)

Tonight will be all about the stitching, I'm hoping to make a dent in my Autumn stitch.

Their website has some nice free patterns and downloads - I particularly like the wonky Christmas Tree and the Mod Coasters

Hope everyone manages to fit in some stitching on the first day of the new year

    Good Afternoon Girls

Not long up (about 11), jumped up to Asda to get hubby some CD-Rs and a packet of biscuits for my base for the banoffee pie - thought I had some but no.

Got a really sore ear - hope I don't have an ear infection. Been taking painkillers so they are helping.

Might try and do some stitching in a bit - need to get cooking.

Here is to 2013 - wonder what this year will bring.

    Keep well,

    sweetcarer ;)
