    Hi ladies.

Happy New year to you all! :)

Chicky. Nice progress on your DOH.

Elle. Love the Darth Vader, made me smile.

    Nmm. Nice update.

Firefly. They are lovely. Really pretty and festive.

MOS. Lovely cushion, really like it. Nice work from your DD too.

Couldsavemore. I started stitching in my late teens, just a few free cover kits. Then I started a design and it got put away for about 10 years. I wasn't as 'into' cross stitching as I am now so didn't miss it. Then a couple of years ago I decided to finish the design I started 10 years ago and haven't stopped stitching since! :D
The amount I have learnt about cross stitching in those couple of years is amazing and all thanks to the lovely ladies here. I also didn't know such a vast amount of accessories existed and now I wouldn't be without the ones I have.

Maria. Lovely 'Welcome'. Reminds me of a bookmark I stitched years ago of a similar style.

PurpleCrutches, Laura16& Poohspals. Welcome! Look forward to seeing progress/update pics from you all in the future :)

    Sweetcarer. Nice O.

    JCS. Very nice bookmark.

FOS. That Blooming Flower is very nice! Can't wait to see progress pics on it. Also have added the site to favs, got some nice freebie designs there. Thanks.
:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:
  • fos - love blooming flowers - have added the website to the ever growing list I have bookmarked. :D

sweetcarer - hope you aren't suffering too much with ear. Have a lovely day with your family. Banoffee is one of my favs btw. :p:D

Hope we manage lots of stitchy hours during 2013 and look forward to seeing many pics of peoples progress during the year.

FOS - Thanks and arrgh for showing me yet more things I want to stitch! Will run out of time to go to work if I'm not careful!

Have just finished m-i-l's curly scarf and stitching up ends of dd's as well, we are going over to m-i-l's later to celebrate Christmas with them as we were away for the week with friends in Wales. Hoping she will love the scarf.

Then slobbing and stitching later :)

    Afternoon Ladies...Happy New Year!!!_party_
Hope you have all recovered, if indeed you celebrated with a tipple of two!

Sorry I've been AWOL for some timel...really been very busy the past few months. I ended up making over 60 brooches, gave lots as Xmas pressies and sold over 20, so not too bad!! :D

I can't even remember when I did any x-stitching...sooo long ago  Mind you, I have been busy making lots of things...mainly sewing, with quite a bit of knitting too, so been quite creative. :)

Trying to sort out lots of things today. Did some web-work this morning (paid :D) and then sorted out the numerous timesheets I have (the penalty of having three different jobs...plus crafting). They now all go through to the end of 2013, so something I won't need to do again for a while.

Now I really need to get some cross-stitching this coming year. As Louise knows I have a couple of projects in progress. I am more than 2/3rds though stitching my Elegant Lady, and ahem, have only just started on The Astronomer (nearly 2 years ago!!!)...I will post piccies once I find them and be shamed into getting something done...and soon!!!

I have only caught up with the last few pages, but you all seem to be as busy as ever. Lovely projects everyone. xx

Right. need to get back to stitching and knitting...three birthdays in January and I have something on the go for all three!! :) Two are next week...they may be a bit late!! ;)

Thanks chicky...It let me do two in my own name...So got WOCS and Crazy...Haven't bought a mag in ages as they are so dear, a £5 is nearly the cost of one issue...xx

I couldn't resist these 2 either. Especially as Cross stitch card shop is cancelled and I have to also cancel crafts beautiful this month. Though I think it is with a diff company.

Chicky- Did you ever get the sub gift... I'm still waiting.

Will do a proper update post later but only got home yesterday and still unwinding and sorting stuff.
  • Oh no chicky , I will sending calming thoughts to your ds tomorrow

Well, I am only out of bed about half hour. Mum and Dad took Jaxon last night and I was looking forward to getting up early and having a whole day to just stitch, watch tv and eat rubbish.

I woke at 5pm and am loaded with the cold, feel like cr&p.
    ;)I HAVE NOTHING TO SAY;)
