Hi everyone - sorry I've been AWOL for some time. Not a good time of year for me - it's coming up to my Mum's anniversary and I don't cope too well with it. Had an awful weekend end up shouting at son then argued with hubby. They are both great as they know why I'm like it. Only positive was that I had to walk to clear my head and in doing so walked nearly 6 miles.

Anyway back to stitching. Some really lovely makes everyone. As it's been ages since I've been "here" there are so many to mention so just going to say well done everyone.

I mounted my exchange card last night and hubby is posting for me today. Have taken a photo - when are we posting pictures and are we posting pictures of what we stitched or what we receive?

Have also finished my tree of stitches for my sister and BIL. Here it is:

Need to decide if I try to finish the bug now for my son or frame the other pictures that are Christmas presents. Logic says to finish the framing but when has logic come into it?

Will try to keep up again with posts.

FlatEric - thanks for sharing that link it's lovely will keep it to show family.

I ventured all the way to Hobbycraft today to get one of those trains..SOLD OUT :(:(:( I had a 25% off voucher from the paper though so I picked up a few other Christmassy bits.

Same here, had voucher from paper and they'd sold out. :(

Didn't manage any stitching yesterday as had a nasty headache all day. Managed a bit of knitting in the evening....... a little hoodie for my first grandchild due in April :)

I see what you mean - I got an error message as well - the log in details are different on the 2 sites so you probably can't link them. Can you phone them instead?

Emailed them this morning and have just received a response. In order to manage subscriptions we need to go to www.buysubscriptions.com

I have done so, registered with the site and can view my subscription no problem but I need to call them anyway to amend/cancel it :rotfl:

I did see that I have 3 issues left before it renews so I will call in the next few weeks.

Off to check my Mollie Makes sub next...

Ailsb - Nice to 'see' you, welcome back! Tree of Stitches is lovely, it's definately going on to my list at some point :o As far as I know we are posting pictures of the cards we receive, unless the recipient does not have a camera in which case we post a pic of their card for them. (Not me though as I forgot to take a picture )

Got side tracked with Criminal Minds box set last night, so need to go through the stash tonight to see what to sew next.

No snow here though, and normally get snowed in quite easily, could have done with the day off work too :rotfl:
