Thanks for putting my big cats design on the forum, and thanks a lot for all the nice comments. I have to say i went through a period of absolutely hating it, black aida and confetti stitching just did my head in at times, sooooo glad its finished and can concentrate on my other pieces. I've got the snowman banner started but also started a map of Australia a couple of weeks ago too (to break the black aida hating) but gonna concentrate on the banner at the mo.
Great news when my FIL came to visit yesterday, he brought Cross stitcher and WOXS mags for me, they're hard to find here and really expensive, think i spotted one for about $16 the other month, I think not!!!
Loving seeing all your pics and reading your advice, keeps me motivated.
Keep on stitching!!!!0 -

Hi ladies.
No stitching done here yet this week. I finished the tinkle design on Sunday and have now got it trimmed, ironed and framed. Have also trimmed and framed the slide design. Thanks again to Louise for the heads up on the frames!
My next design is called 'A rest at last'. Might frame this as a gift for hubby once finished as he keeps on at me saying we need a kitten or two
Not sure when exactly I'll be able to start the next design as the printer is being very temperamental at the moment. There's some parts of the copies that are un-readable so I'm having to write in quite a few symbols myself. Shouldn't take too long though.....she says hopefully!
Anyway, here's my pics.
Slide design finally framed,
Tinkle design now in downstairs loo,
Next design I'm doing,:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

They look great Shelly
That frame sets off the slide pic especially well - I haven't used any of my frames yet but I will get there at some point

afternoon ladies just popped on to show you what ive been up to
table mat
coaster
they still need interfacing on them and heming, but i was wondering would you do them all red or each set in a different colour? any opinions welcome13 in 2013 challenge 9/130 -
Thanks for the comments Maria & Louise
Though I have noticed a mistake on the tinkle one  I decided to leave 4 spaces between each word but have noticed I only left a space of 3 between the words you and tinkle. Not a biggie but enough to bother me and now I know it's there I want to unpick and re-stitch.
I'm leaving it for now though, will see how much it bothers me over the next few days :rotfl:
Maria. The table mat and coaster are really nice.
My personal opinion on your colours question is do you have a colour theme in your kitchen? As you can see from my pics the wallpaper in the dining end of our kitchen/diner is green & brown so I would choose 3 shades of green & 3 of brown that go together and stitch each mat and coaster set differently.
If we didn't have the wallpaper on that wall and it was painted pale green the same as the other non-papered walls I'd probably stick to doing them all the same colour or 6 different shades of green.
Sorry if that's rambling and no help:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
shelly and maria lovely photos.
i wouldnt have noticed the space if you hadnt have said and even then had to look for it. but as you say you know if it will bug you.
love the coaster and as shelly says it depends what colour scheme the room you are using them in has.SPC~12 ot 124
