I'm here. Managed a walk out yesterday and got the latest WOXS. Had to walk a bit further to Sainsbury as tesco didn't have it. Glad I bought it as there's quite a few designs in it that I'd like to stitch. The chart book that came with it has some nice designs in it too.

Got a drs appointment later. It's for the nurse to check the wounds & make sure there's no sign of infection. I took the dressings off last night as the glue was irritating my skin. They look like they're healing very well, though. The chest one is about an inch long as is still sealed with glue. The two side cuts are very small and the belly button one is pretty icky looking. But that was where the camera went, so the biggest cut. I'm sure it will settle down in time. Been getting very bloated after eating, which isn't good. I'll mention it to the nurse. Hopefully it's just my body settling down and will pass soon.

ETA: have lost that 4lb I gained. No idea what that was about, but will try and get out for a walk every day to stop any more lbs sneaking back.

Sounds like we've got all the good weather here in London. It's chilly, but lovely blue skies & looks sunny at the moment. I've booked train tickets for the funeral on Friday. My mum has to work & hubby has been off a lot with my problems recently, so I'm going on my own. I'm sure I'll be ok, though. It's just a long train journey. Will take a travel pillow!

You've been very chatty the last few days whilst I've been away. Back from Paris - had a wonderful few days but the weather was dire.

S*ds law says it was nice here but raining and cold over there. Never mind didn't stop us getting out and about.

Ruth - glad you are on the mend and managing to get to your friends funeral on Friday. Awful way to have found out but at least you did find out before the funeral.

Louise - love the cards you've finished and your Dr Who picture etc. You were really busy.

Mags_cats - Hard Frost looks great framed your Mum is very lucky to have you to stitch for her. I'm sure all four designs will look stunning together.

Laura - your Ark is coming along really well.

I didn't take any stitching away with me, just as well as I wouldn't have had any time to do any. But my hubby decided it would be nice if I stitched something for our anniversary (he didn't know about A Good Marriage then). We went into a little needlework shop in an arcade in the centre of Paris and he treated me to this

We got to the airport with loads of time to spare so I started the blue behind the Sacre Coeur. Will finish it and add the date of our anniversary to it.

Off out tonight to the cinema and then a meal (it's not every day that we get to celebrate 25 years of marriage) so no stitching for me.

Happy anniversary! Have you given your husband 'A Good Marriage' now? What did he think of it?
Enjoy your night out tonight. :)

    Hi Ladies.

Ruth. Hope everything went ok at the docs. When I had keyhole surgery my belly button went icky but sorted itself out in the end. My doc said because of where it's located on your body it's not naturally able to get fresh air to it so takes longer to heal.

    mrs-mp. Such a lovely eldest DD :)

Ailsb. Glad you had a nice holiday and Congratulations on 25 years of marriage!

Remember the sn0wgl0bes posted last week? I have them :j ;););)
