What are these cornices and crevices people speak of? I don't think I have them

The bathroom basin has a quick clean every day; whoever uses the shower or bath cleans it. Skirting get a wipe with my socked foot as I notice dust.

I do my skirting boards on a rota alternate days. Upstairs day one, downstairs day 2, upstairs 3, downstairs 4.
I do my windows inside and out daily as I'm waiting for my fresh bread to finish baking before breakfast. If it's raining I just do the insides
