I do my skirting boards on a rota alternate days. Upstairs day one, downstairs day 2, upstairs 3, downstairs 4.
I do my windows inside and out daily as I'm waiting for my fresh bread to finish baking before breakfast. If it's raining I just do the insides

Nope, not here...not even once a week. I sweep a bit when the floor looks like it needs it (floor boards throughout). Priority is to keep bathroom and kitchen hygenic. Everything else is secondary to doing things I enjoy.pollypenny wrote: »Do most people hoover every day? I must be a !!!!!!.

The reality is that my skirtings get done about once a year - whether they need it or not

LOL MrCow! :rotfl:
I hoover twice a week and do windows once a month. When I can't see out, I clean them.
Skirting boards get hoovered with the crevice doofer on the vac, not every time just when it needs it, probably fortnightly?
Sadly the bedrooms don't get the same treatment as we have so much stuff we're in the process of selling and being MSE not wishing to pay for storage so it's in every patch of spare space upstairs. :eek:0 -

I don't need one, the sweeping and cornices would already have been done
