which panda you talking about? it costs from £8900 so more than an up! and £1000 less than a polo.

plus the panda is a hideous car.

so for me, yes, a no brainer.

The Panda is a wonderful car, one of the best in class. Fiat Supasaver has been going a long time, the Panda isn't cheap it's the old model and the right value for what it is. They used to sell them for £5000.

Forget the VW products (inc seat and Skoda), dire longterm reliability and just as plastic as anything else and less specification, the Co2 and MPG is generally worse then most other car brands too. The only exceptions are the special blue motion products but they're well overpriced.

Best model in class is the Hyundai i10 and then the Kia Picanto, higher specification and better warranty.

You obviously have never driven one and you don't really get what the Panda is about. No it is not a VW, no it will never be classed as pretty but for a small car on skinny tyres with a foolproof engine it is a true work horse.

I really do love these discussions so many want to slag of the (old shape) Panda, What I can't understand is why Fiat have changed a winning formula with the pricing of the latest version, that is a shame.

(I provided a link to the price, the only thing it might be prereg but I can't see any mention of that)

pre reg's have 2 owners listed on the car do they not? your not comparing apples with apples...

' dire longterm reliability and just as plastic as anything else'

well like i said we've had one polo since 2005 from new and its reliability has been flawless. other one since 2010 and no problems, and the interior is solid and very well made.

as for the appearance of the panda, just my opinion but its ugly. fine for people who dont care about how they look but for me its not a car i would go anywhere near.

I think you will find that one of the Panda's strongest suits is its reliability.

Now that is very funny, if I was one to care how I looked we might not have a Panda but equally I wouldn't have a Polo. We'd be driving a Mito or something with some style.

I phoned fiatsupasaver, they do not have any of the old Pandas for sale now, only the new model.

What about the Suzuki Alto £5995
