I had a weird one the other day saying he would buy if I would like to sell the item for £5.00. The price is £15 and my profit is small so he won't be getting it for a fiver. I didn't bother to reply either just added to my blocked list so he couldn't buy in case he decided to claim not received.
Well I'm glad it's not just me who gets them! I had one recently who offered me £5 for something, which is less than my cost price for the item.

I don't mind people making offers but wonder how much they think we actually pay for things?!!

They must be mistaking ebay for facebook selling pages. :p
"So long and thanks for all the fish" :hello:
  • I once got a "Best Offer" of 50p for an item I'd listed at £6.99 or best offer. I don't know if they were just taking the p on purpose or what: I imagine so, but with eBay you never know!
