    Chapter two.
    saving for a brighter future

if we can't afford it we don't buy it... anything we need/want we save until we have the money to pay for it....

This is my diary on saving for our future,my long term plan. ways to save money and generally being frugal and cutting back during these tough times.
so incase you didn't know already we are a family of 3 our son is 4. im 20 my partner is 21. we've been together nearly 6 years and we are currently NTNP for baby #2 ... i might be young but that's no excuse to be stupid with money so hop on board and join me on my money saving journey

    ETA
Incase i hadn't said already and just incase anyone was wondering our son wasn't planned (3 failed contraceptions) so please don't judge us. yes we're young yes i had a child at 16 and yes i never planned to be a mother so young but i love being a mum ... my son is brought up just how i would bring him up if i was 30 or 40 with morals and manners he's a good kid and i love him more than words could ever describe, if someone had said to me 4 years ago me and my partner (my sons father) would still be together i would of laughed in there face we've been through a lot on top of being young parents and constantly being judged but through the good and the bad we've stood by each other and 6 years since first getting together as teenage school kids and 4 years since having our son (who had to have a major operation at 6 months old) we're stronger than we've ever been... we're not perfect parents but we do our best and our son (along with any future children) will always come first and is our first priority ....so please don't judge us, we are planning to have another child because we would like to give our son a sibling and we would like another child ... actually on the subject of another child i went to the doctors last week and the nurse asked me about contraception so i replied im not on any we're not preventing it because we want another child .... and then came the questions .... is it really a good idea? how old is your baby? are you breastfeeding still? is it the same father? are you sure this is the right decision ? ive never seen her before ... and felt very judged ... the look on her face when i replyed my son is now 4 yes its the same father ... 6 years and stronger than ever and financially on the right path .... shock doesn't even come close her face was like a thunderstorm ... and then she started saying be prepared to be pregnant with in a month or 2 because you fell pregnant with your son quick didn't you .... well if you class quick as unplanned and 3 failed contraceptions then yes it was quick but she didn't like it when i explained since having the depo injection nearly 2 years ago ive never had a regular period and i have a cyst in my 1 ovary so it most probably wont happen very quick this time and even if it does we're not worried because everything will be sorted and ready for baby she wasn't very happy at all.

sorry about the rant/explanation ....off to find a corner to hide in now
