  • hi thanks for your input.
i have already downgraded the mobiles they were around £45 each,
i haven't thought about reducing bt will get partner to phone its in his name. the cost covers line rental, bt vision, unlimited landline calls, and internet.
to be honest i dont think we have touched no where near that amount each month on 'family days out' so it has been going on the credit card instead.
you are correct i dont pay rent, this is what i put up to cover any household maintenance, but couldn't see a category for it so put it under rent, so it was easy to remember what it is for ... IYSWIM

hope everyone is well, sold 1 item so will make about £7 tomorrow hopefully :)

  • yes. it is but i want to make sure everything is covered, for instance, earlier in the year i had to have 1 of my walls in the living room stripped back to brick treated, re plastered etc. costing quiet abit as well as the bathroom ceiling falling down because of a roof leak that we couldn't get too. these were all expenses that i had put money aside for so therefore didn't run the debt up anymore that what it was. but i understand what you mean it could probably be lower, thanks will take a look at it,

the credit card is coming down nicely, littlewoods is looking OK. need to find out how much i owe the parents though

although i have still been paying the debt off i feel that i could be trying harder, so im going to have a look at where i can cut back some more ready for the new year... and carry on with eBay again, i've been trying Facebook but ended up letting a few things go for pittance so im going to start eBay listing again later on today, im up early because LO has been having night terrors/ night mares most of the night so have been up and down all night, but after i last saw to him about 20 mins ago i don't feel tired so just going to chill out for abit and wait for little one to wake up. will let you know how i get on later today . take care all
