Do you have a 'free' council tax month in Feb?
You could use that too :)

evening all nearly had a NSD today until i realised we were low on milk so DP popped to the shop this evening and used vouchers :money: so it was only a 48p spend ..... i have spent the evening listing more stuff for sale, need it all gone its taking up too much room..... next thing to takle is LO's toys .... and under our bed and the bottom of our wardrobes.... so might find more stuff we no longer need that can be listed. going to get DP to declutter the shed too...

so far i have sorted :

LO's clothes that no longer fit him
My clothes that no longer fit me
the bathroom... sold a unit to a family member waiting to hear when they have the money so we can take it too them.
    kitchen

rooms i need to sort to see if there is anything we no longer need worth selling:

    our bedroom
    living room
    hall and under stairs
    LO's toys

its LO's 4th birthday on saturday (tomoz) ive already got his present just his cake to buy today will upload a pic of his present as soon as i have worked out photobucket

    birthday cake £10

    balloons £1
    banners £2
    card £2

  • evening everyone. hope you are all well? ok so yesterday was a no spends day.
this week is bill paying week. and ive decided from tomorrow till when the debt is paid im going to keep track of every little spend so i can within the next few weeks see where i can cut back further and save money and also after the debt is paid im not sure if i have mentioned it before but i don't want to go back down this road so will will be saving for everything and try and grasp the attitude of if we can't afford it we dont buy it ... if we don't need it we don't buy it. i would like to try and cut down on my grocery shopping more so will try and do a meal plan for the next 2 weeks .... and figure out what we can use in the freezer and what we need to buy.... and stick to a list :o ....

i was wondering while i remember to ask ...once i have paid the debt off could i carry on with this diary to keep me focused on not going back into debt and start saving ? are we allowed to do that or not ?? if anyone could advise me on that one id be very grateful,,,

as a general update ... we have been keeping spends to a minimum as much as possible :)
ive been keeping on top of the housework alot better :T
ive stayed focused on achieving my target to become debt free before march .... most of the time :o

im off to bed now ..... speak soon take care all hugs to those that need want one x
