I've done a small notebook with all banks..utilities everything listed.
In my address book put brief description ie worked with at....

Taken pictures of things that have family history or mean something to me. Wrote on back.

All photos of long gone family members names etc written on the back.

I just have 1 son who's fascinated with family history
