If you use a hairdryer be very careful, the heat could crack the screen0
-
just leave it and take it somewhere that will pass it because its just a silly sticker on the screen causing no harm.
i'd be more concerned as a tester that if theres any big BHP that the brakes are coping well with it and its not spitting flames all over place in changing gear. not a window sticker.0 -

They also seem to think its 'cool' to have a list of car parts manufacturers down the side, or a huge version of the carmakers logo along the side.
Not to mention a fart cannon exhaust that can be heard from 7 postcodes away...
Maybe I'm getting old?
that one of my pet hates on a car is stickers everywhere.
i cant say much at the moment about a fart tin, my back box got damaged and the rest of the exhaust is air tight so i just stuck on fart tin for now untill the pipe work get a hole in it from wear. then i'll have to replace the whole system including cat converter as the exhaust is factory fit from new and all in one from manifold over £300 for the system (will be stainless) and £192 for cat converter (stainless) where as OE or pattern parts are over £600.00 for all anc fitting kits0 -

. It's not chavvy cheap mods that you get on crappy corsas but it is ridiculously modded as it was a rally race car owned by Subaru so had to be flashy. If I knew how to post pictures on here I would.
I guess I could get the strip taken off, but I don't really want to have to pay to have it done properly (im a girl and would not be able to do it myself at all)
Granted, when done properly a nicely modified Subaru can look the part. Just around here people seem to think it's cool to stick all sorts of bits to all sorts of cars!
At least if it's a prepped rally car it'll have some poke.0 -

I only ask as a young boy/idiot in our area recently knocked someone down and his insurance company wouldn't pay out 'cause he didn't inform them of the mods and was done for fraud, although that was the least of his problems as he went to prison for dangerous driving.
This seems unlikely. Undeclared mods aren't an excuse for insurance companies to refuse to pay out to the driver's victims as they are required to do this by the RTA.
They are allowed to refuse to pay out for the driver's own vehicle, and/or to come after the driver for reimbursement of the money they paid out to the victim, however if the insurance company refused to pay out to the victim on these grounds then they are an even worse than the driver in this incident.0 -

I reckon that as the the car in question is an ex rally car that was owned by Subaru, the insurance company would have all the details from the registration number.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -

Highly unlikely.0 -

Even if they do, they will only use this information when they need to refuse to pay out due to undeclared mods.0 -
Thanks for your comments. Yes the car mods have been delcared. Was very hard to find insurance as online comparison sites could only take up to 6 mods. Had to phone in the end and went through the whole list lol.
Yes I do have a hairdryer but I would not even want to try doing it myself incase I ruin the car.
Update- OH's dad took the car to the same MOT center it was passed at last year and they say it needs to be removed. I'm going to speak to them myself and ask how they passed it last year. You are right though- MOTs that are arranged by the dealer are not worth the paper its written on.
I will also be demanding the dealer remove it professionally free or charge.... lets see how far I get with that lol. Savings £18,000 / £25,000 :beer:0
