'Official' stickers that are not readily removable - such as vehicle licences, parking and access permits - are only a reason for rejection if they seriously restrict the drivers view. 'Official' stickers should be taken to be any sticker that is used in connection with 'road enforcement', 'security' or 'crime prevention' matters.
These include: Disabled Persons Badges/permits, Parking Permits. Licences and Vehicle Anti-Theft Scheme stickers issued by a Policy Authority. The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon0 -
Can you modify it to say "SUBO"? That will take up less space and increase your street cred no end.Can I help?0

. It's not chavvy cheap mods that you get on crappy corsas but it is ridiculously modded as it was a rally race car owned by Subaru so had to be flashy. If I knew how to post pictures on here I would.
I guess I could get the strip taken off, but I don't really want to have to pay to have it done properly (im a girl and would not be able to do it myself at all)
Hairdryer will almost certainly get rid of it. Use it to heat one of the edges then slowly pull it off using the hair-dryer all the way.
Might take some time but it should come off. All the stickers on my bikes have come off quite easily like this.
PS. don't do it in the rain0 -
what does it say on your mot fail sheet?
most car modifications are legal for example its stuff like heavily tinted front side windows, large windscreen strips, ebay aftermarket headlights that are ce approved, decat pipes and aftermarket hid kits-unless a dome or headlight washers are retrofitted at the same time.
Stuff like suspension, wheels, engine mods are nearly all legal
one of the easiest ways to remove sunstrips is to use boiling water just pour it on give it a few seconds (allow to cool just enough to touch without burning yourself) it will become soft and plyable then just peel away from one of the lower corners

All you need is a hair dryer to heat it up and then pull. Clean the glass off with white spirit.0 -
Have you declared your mods to you insurance company?
I only ask as a young boy/idiot in our area recently knocked someone down and his insurance company wouldn't pay out 'cause he didn't inform them of the mods and was done for fraud, although that was the least of his problems as he went to prison for dangerous driving.Don't wait for your ship to come in, swim out to it.0 -
