Am sooooo laughing at this. Fab name and I remember (I think) the exact sound you mean. It would still make me shudder to hear it again. I associate it with 'the blue screen of death'. Anyone remember that?

Unfortunately though Blu, the BSOD still exists. It's happened to my laptop a few times.. nothing major, but still makes me laugh :rotfl:

And in my job, I have to call stores who have fax machines, and sometimes if they don't reach the phone in time the fax machine kicks in and makes that horrific dial-up sound very loudly in my ear :mad: :rotfl:

I had my first name initial and surname when i first registered then once i started to get more active on mse i asked for it to be changed. It took me ages trying to come up with a username as the one I like to use Red Devil was already taken so in the end i decided on EnglishWelshie, English because i am English and Welshie because I live in Wales and i used to call my son my little EnglishWelsh boy when he started picking up the Welsh accent.

I joined forever ago and all my fave names had been taken and as I have a really unusual name and did not want to be recognised I had to go for summat simple
so my married name (price) not my name now as I am back to my maiden name which is Belgian.
and as I was recently divorced at that time I was wavering between mrs and miss so missprice was born.
bears absolutely no resemblance to my name now and I would love to change it but ya cant:)

My Real Name is Christina.

The reason I have Short n Sweet is because I am 5 foot nothing tiny and people always comment on me being little...Sweet came from the fact I can be sweet (or love Sweets) although someone on here mentioned it should be Short n Nasty (thank you).
