Me too, I'm a Wednesfield girl (or rather, a Wednesfield Grandma :rotfl:) and my daughter always spells my cards MOM.
  • Oh I love this thread.:)

I love shopping and finding great bargains, hence the name.

Am off to the grabbit board now to see if there is any bargains to be had....

I once had an American girlfriend and she was always fascinated about how I/(UK people) spelt or said "mum" as opposed to her "mom"...so I should have just taken her to Wolverhampton then !

As for my username, this is a money site, people say "he/she is money mad" and it went together well with my name so it was more tongue-in-cheek, but I wish I picked another as it makes me sound like I'd sell the family silver just for a quick buck, which isn't me. I should take more care registering usernames on all sites rather than put something that just pops into my head as I have a few I wish were different elsewhere too especially on sites where I can only register one-time only:(
As an example, on one site, I've actually called myself after the dog!
I wish I had thought of a better user name as this makes me sounds greedy :( It was meant more tongue-in-cheek.

    What a brilliant thread.

My first name is Patricia and my surname begins with O. Think I might be in for a change now tho, reading everyone's stories it feels really boring!
  • well anyone from a certain generation will understand mine (though admittedly spelt differently) - from a certain cartoon that happens to also be the name of my motorbike

    Nice thread Blulu! :T

Mine is very simple - I ride a bike (a lovely blue Honda Hornet CB600 to be precise) and I'm a 'chick' :D

I also found the perfect avatar, which I love because it represents how I feel about riding and being at one with the bike :j

  • Mine is an abbreviation of my name. I was so excited when i found this site that when asked for a user name to register i couldn't think of anything catchy so i came up with shrnmitch, have tried to change it but alas it would seem it's stuck with me. :)

Ok. So I have the worst username - laurenpurdy123.... my name is Lauren Purdy. Don't know where the 123 came from. I set it up randomly when I needed to ask a question on one of the other forums and just stuck to this log in. I want to change it but it won't let me :( if I set up a new account I'll lose all my likes and post history lol... how sad :rotfl:
