Those who know me will confirm that my relationship with my Grandchildren is one of mutual adoration and it's a huge passion in my life, despite the distance.
I also get a lot of fun and friendship from the biking fraternity, so rallies, camping, meets and rideouts are also a big part of my life.
As a person who loves to challenge stereotypes the quirkiness and contrast between the roles appealed to my rebellious nature, so Grannybiker was born!Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
Mine's self explanatory too0

This is a fascinating thread, I am loving reading how everyone picked their names, thank you Blulunanto3girls wrote: »I think mine is self explanatory.
I have to confess that its only now you have pointed it out, I can see it. I have always automatically read it as Nanto Girls and blanked the number out in the past, which kinda goes to show how our (my) brains make sense of anything they read, iyswim.
My light may be on, but that doesn't always mean I am looking at the PC - I am far more likely to be cuddling or feeding Tianna atm, so please don't think I am ignoring you if I don't reply quickly
Our Precious Baby Tianna has now joined our Family, she is much loved and very welcome, xxx0 -
we had a hamster called tinkerbell, she was my first one as an adult
and when it was feeding time (or when we had a treat for her) we would always call tinktinktinkerbell0 -
:hello: Hi, my name isn't actually Rebecca, I've just always loved that name (it's actually Kim) and the 1357 are my favourite numbers, except 7 - don't know where that came from. As you can tell I'm not very imaginative lol0

Thanks Mamzie. I think all the credit goes to everyone's response. It's so interesting, and quite touching sometimes. Thanks guys. I'm loving reading everyone's stories - including those who blush because they've 'just' done the simple and obvious. You obviously don't have my ego issuesI am brave, I am bruised
I am who I'm meant to be
I'm not scared to be seen
I make no apology
THIS IS ME!

My real name is actually Jenny!
The first gift my husband bought me (my boyfriend at the time - I wouldn't have married him if he hadn't ever bought me any gifts! :rotfl:) was a little bat to go with my halloween outfit. He looked more like a cat though - so we called him Boris the Batcat!
He was our little mascot (he was even the ring bearer at our Las Vegas wedding :j) until one horrible day, when he got lost on a ferry from the UK to the Netherlands. We always say that he probably ran away to live a life of debauchery in Amsterdam!
So - I use the name Boris in his memory, and the 3428 is 4 of the didgets from my parents phone number, with one changed!
Random enough!?Thanks to all those lovely people who contribute to this website.

I love reading about people's usernames.
I usually go by Kipepeo Girl, which is what a character in one of my favourite books gets called by another character.
Kipepeo is Swahili for 'butterfly' and I like butterflies... so that's it I guess. I don't know why I left off the Girl though.0
