Has anybody any idea why a friend of mines regular texts are no longer coming though to my phone. I appear to have no problem receiving other peoples texts, and other people are receiving hers.
Would this be a problem with my phone? I'm sure not were to start to solve this problem.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

My OH has the same problem.

It happens with only one of her contacts. I thought it might be something to do with a full inbox of texts for that contact but clearing them all on both phones has not cured it. OH's phone is a San Francisco and the other phone is an iPhone.

To see if any pattern is emerging,

    (1) What is the network of the sender and

    (2) what is the network of the non-receiver?

    Sender is vodaphone
    Reciever is Orange.

Iconic - I wondered that too and cleared my inbox and sent box, but no differnce.

I see some pattern. Vodafone - again.

  • Mmmm, interesting. I was receiving these vodavone txts fine until relatively recently (well we think so, no idea if odd ones went missing).

It's strange because the OH has other Vodafone contacts and she gets txts from them ok.

She is going to change her sim to another phone to see if that helps. The vodaphone contact has a contract iPhone so they are less than willing to change their sim! (needless to say they are adamant the fault is at her end).

I have the same problem, can't receive texts from one person, although they do receive my texts.

They're on Vodafone and I'm on Three. I have no problems receiving texts from anyone else.

In the thread I quoted above the problem appeared to be on the O2 (recipient) side.
