It does say that the line rental is £9.99 per calendar month but it does not say whether this includes VAT or not. However, you can see that all call charges quoted are Exc VAT!

Apologies, AP, when I wrote that and for a few days afterwards it was true.

It's difficult to be diplomatic about those call charges; apart from mixing up 0870 calls as national geographic which is simply careless, the majority of call rates are higher than BT, by the time (or even before) the VAT is added

worst case - Nat non-geo at weekends at 5p + vat per minute; compare this to BT's 2p per minute

I correct myself - calls to O2 at weekends 7.5p per minute + vat; compared to BT @ 3.61 incl

i agree andy about the mention of MSE on their tarriff??

It certainly is amazing that a company would associate more than doubling a BT tariff detail with the idea of MSE customers saving money.

I don't imagine abcon have direct control about what appears on another website, but I know what I'd do if ...
