    Thanks for the suggestions, some great feedback and things to consider. I guess its 18 months then but I definitely dont want to do 24 months as that is way too long as far as im concerned.

    The next step is a Carphone Warehouse to see the handsets and get a feel for them.

    If there are any more suggestions please let me know. :)

    Huawei g300 was a good suggestion above. You are unlikely to find it at CPW, but it is available for £70-£100 in other places without any 18-24 month contract.

    I actually looked at that phone. It looked quite impressive and was going to swap to voda, until virgin came up with the latest offer I'm on :) It does look like a good phone, especially for the price :)

    Yes the Huawei is a great phone with many features for the price and no contract! Someone also mentioned the new Htc one s which is what I was thinking as well. Htc have also come out with a range of phones in their desire line called desire c, v & x but these seem similar in spec to the huawei but much more expensive. You pay more for the name and design.

    I also had a look at the better Desire phones to replace my Desire C and thats when i ended up here
    When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?
