i prefer to go out with my oh
my friends are mostly married anyway but me and future mrs s.s are very similar, we like the same bands, we often go to new cities together, and of course when you have odd allergies (i have ibs so am allergic to/get sick from eating things for example- seeded bread, sugar free soft drinks etc i can be a right pain in the backside)
most of my male friends would consider an indie gig hell, i love that sort of thing thoughWho remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0 -

Really pleased for you for the way things have turned out. And long may it continue
Thanks BugglyB for your tip! I did that tonight and it felt really good! Think I kinda worried OH for a minute as he probably wondered what I was up to when I was dropping him off :rotfl:
Awww no worries! Its nice isn't it! Pleased to think I might have spread the tradition!
I recently went to a festival with friends and OH gave me what he knew was exactly the price of the veggie breakfast I was going to have on Sunday morning.0 -
We mostly do our own separate nights out with us going out as a couple for meals or to the pics etc (not a drinking night).
We both tend to drive the other to wherever they are going out to save on taxi.
As for 'rules' I honestly think we've ever discussed it.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -

Aw sweet
Yip! Definitely think it's gonna start a wee tradition from me at least!!Wealth is what you're left with when all your money runs out0 -
I'd love it if my husband went out without me.
Often Mr LW comes home from work stressed out, and wants to go out just to relax. As I mentioned before, he simply won't go on his own. I rather think it's to do with the fact that he lived alone for many years before we met.
Oft-times I'm really not feeling up to turning out to visit the pub, I'd far sooner stay home and do some cross-stitch, but I feel obliged; after all, he earns the money and looks after me, and it's the least I can do if it helps him relax and shake off the latest stress the users have put him under (he's an IT techie).:o
Bless him, put a pint of well-kept Old Empire in front of him and he's a happy man.:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
