Personally I don't think waiting 4 weeks is reasonable at all. I would be tempted to wait until say Friday and then ask outright for a refund.

  • Personally I would be opening an INR through paypal , that may focus the seller.

Definately would not be waiting another 2 weeks.

They are talking nonsense and for expecting you to wait even longer I would put in a full INR claim now. You will still have to wait 10 days if you do it through paypal, but at least you have a time frame and seller still has time for item to arrive, and of they refund before paypal force them to they don't even get a mark on their dashboard.

thanks have now done that but what made me mad was the 3 excamations marks he put in his message as if i was being unreasonable, lve had things go missing before and always apologised even though it wasnt my fault and given a full refund in less time than he has been given
  • i sell and buy on ebay. seller can make a claim with royal mail after 15 days. got to your purchase history and go to the tab that says problem with transaction and click and follow instructions to open a item not receieved case. after a certain time...can't remember if it's 30 or 45 days...you can't make a claim with paypal. if seller can't prove to ebay that they sent the item then ebay will award you the money. don't wait any longer.

The seller would need to prove delivery, not that it was sent. For the seller proof of postage is only useful for a Royal Mail claim.

I would wait until I got my refund or goods, then leave a neutral with low stars for communication (leave other stars blank to be fair to seller)
