Ways to bring car insurance down
Options
Hi everyone,
Car insurance premiums these days are ridiculously high, and I know a lot of people, including me are getting robbed blind by them, so lets try and help each other out!
I know there's plenty of little ways, for example named drivers or changing your excess, so if you would like to share your tried and tested ways, I, and I'm sure others on this forum would be highly grateful
Thanks and enjoy,
Tom

Isn't it all covered by Martin's article already?Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

The first thing you should do is shop around. Mine's due this week and my renewal was £316, i went on the Internet yesterday lots of the quotes were more but the three cheapest were all just over £250. The cheapest being the same firm that i'm with now and had quoted me £316.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

He might have I was just trying to find out what people have done to lower theirs. Not being nasty or anything but if you apparently already know everything about it and don't have anything to share then why bother reading the thread?0 -

People do ask silly questions sometimes but the Op is a newie so i think we need to give him the benefit-of-the-doubt. He probably doesn't know his way around this site yet.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

She said on the phone that the online price which had come via 'moneysupermarket' would have included incentives that were only offered to new clients. I'm waiting for them to come back to see will they matchprice, couple of days left yet before it runs out.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

So they would have made it cheaper for a new customer, but more expensive for you? Disgusting really, you've given them money and loyalty in the past, they should look after existing customers first.0
