28 is great I hope they all sell, I used to sell on Ebay a lot a few years ago, but found my main rival was the person I got my stock from so decided to give it up. Nowadays I cannot even get a bid let alone make any real money from it, I think it is so saturated at the moment, and everybody is feeling the pinch so is selling off their wares.
Been here for a long time and don't often post

I did wonder how much profit people made from ebaying, I guess that's my answer
I'm not selling anything I don't already own, so any money I make is literally 100% profit, I have enough on my plate with being self employed without having the extra hassle of running an eBay business on top of that!
Sorry your business didn't work out

Today is officially the end of spendy september! It's my daughter's birthday so all the present buying is over (that sounds like she got thousands of ££££££££££ worth of presents, hahahaha), school equipment is bought (bar the odd book), I can now sit on my laurels for a bit till oooooo Christmas

Ahem. I have just done a quick trawl through ebay, and I think I have a few LPs in the £150-£200 bracket. I definitiely need to make time to go through them all,. I have probably 1000 LPs stashed in my cupboard ready to sell.

Found one worth £95!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Right, I'm going to sort out some serious packing this week and get going with the LPs!!!!
The only problem I have is my Grandad left me all his records in his will and I don't want to sell those, but I'm having some difficulty separating out the ones I bought with the sole intention of selling, the ones I bought for myself that I don't want anymore, and his legacy which is something I don't want to lose.
There may be some guessing going on, but I'll work something out...

The birthday girl has had a bath with her new duck bath radio (funny little thing, dead cute, bless Amazon), and is now upstairs falling in love with her new flatscreen tv. Her old one is lurking behind the sofa, it's so unreliable now I think it would be unethical to give it away on freecycle so I'm going to call the council tomorrow and get them to pick it up for junking.
In the meantime, I have put my first LP on eBay, a blue and pink label factory pressing of Alicia de Larrocha. I've no idea what it's going to fetch, but I'm guessing it will either be £5 or £500, it's that sort of peculiarity. My money's on the £5 though

Well, fleaBay is a curious place! Apart from the completely expected quick BIN sale of my daughter's Nano for £35 (money she's put towards her much coveted iPad), surprise bidding of the week is a skirt of hers I bought for her from Primark for £2.50 that's already at £3.78 with 6 days to go. We're both watching it with some amusement. I suspect she has a little cult item there

Well, I now have 35 items on fleaBay, with 5 items scheduled ready to be placed at 5pm Thursday to finish at Prime Time 5pm Sunday ( I can't place them myself as I'm working then). Small items I don't care about, but the boxsets and my Nano I want as much bidding as I can possibly get...
Bad news - I've gone over grocery budget again. I'm thinking if I give myself a budget of £10,000 per month I might be able to stick to it
Good news - Included in that grocery budget was a massive amount of tupperware for freezing meals and packing my daughter's cookery lessons, several takeaways bought with "grocery cash", ebay packaging (can't be bothered to separate it out), bulk buy at Asda that we still have plenty of food left over, my first bulk order of soya flour online instead of wasting time and bus money on traipsing into town every five minutes, bulk online order of poppy seeds (previous cost - £2.25 for 40g, current cost - £2.35 for 250g)
Good news - I have Natwest PIN for credit card (unlikely to use it unless DIRE emergency, but it means 0% card is in post!)
Good news - Natwest current account debit card in post - doesnt save a penny on my Barclays account, but finally having two accounts should make it easier to work out what the hell is going on in with my money!
Bad news - didn't get any work off those CVs
Good news - Got a job offer, a nice "we'll keep you're details on file letter", and waiting for third answer. Could be worse, nobody told me to bog off
Good news - my daughter made leek and potato soup for me tonight and it was DELICIOUS!!!!!
Good news - I had phone call from possible new student
Good news - I have made a start on a book I have been meaning to write for many years (I'm no novellist, it's a pedagogy tome)
That's quite a lot of good news
Good news (last one) After the month that is Spendy September, and not a complete month for earning capability, I think I may have broken even!
Interesting segue...
Good news - I broke even, my daughter didn't break her finger.
Why are Segways called Segways? Do they lead on to something else? Like cars?
I've had beer, can you tell?
Toodles!

I have FINALLY finished the pile of eBay listings!!!!! I have 33 items on sale, 9 scheduled to start later today.
Once this lot goes, I'm on a mission with the vinyl
Meanwhile, I've got a list of things to do today as long as my arm (amittedly not that long)
- Book room for teaching for tomorrow
- Phone back new student
- Tidy house
- Nag Argos AGAIN about that s*****g points card
- Make headway on initial notes on book
- Lesson prep for tonight (that's quite big actually)
- Town to buy flour that I don't think I'll get on the online order in time (bad bad bad organising)
- Get an early night
