It is, unfortunately. Budget what it costs to live in your own home in terms of food. Some places charge for electricity, but since you'll be out all day, and won't be running heating, it should be quite minimal.
I found one of the biggest costs was petrol, but you'll probably do less travelling than me, and more "going into attractions".
Do an itinerary first, that should at least help.
ThanksI've found a lovely looking place with ducks and geese for roughly £300 for a week in Gweek (and not just because I like how that sounds!)
I'll work out the petrol budget to get there and back, and the rest should be covered in my monthly amount which I consistently underestimate, leaving me loads to play with for stuff like this.
Food is covered with the grocery budget.
Meals out I can plan for.
Seal Sanctuary I can budget for, and the rest I can work out tonight by looking at what is available!
Cheers

Make sure it is. I do somewhere between 1000-2000 miles in the week I go on holiday. A fair chunk is the journey to-from, but the majority isn't."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Crikey, that's a lot of miles!
I've emailed the cornwall tourist board to get an idea of locations etc... Will knuckle down and try to work out a budget later this week
Thanks

Dammit. Finished teaching and nearly passed out in the hallway, then felt sick, dizzy, and faint all evening. I now have earache. I'll give myself three guesses....

An extra hour's teaching has come in for this morning (not one of my usual students, so a one-off which is nice) so that's another driving lesson for my daughter paid for
Between that and the one paid for via the current ratsitting, she's now got enough off road under 17 lessons to keep her ticking over until she gets her provisional.
Quite exciting really!

Left over homemade pizza for lunch and off to do the tesco shop from list. Daughter is in charge of most of it as I keep losing my balance, so I have a small list and am in charge of coupons and paying.

Daughter has experimented with a slow cook pasta marinara sauce which is bubbling away nicely, and we're now both shattered and slumped in front of the tv watching a witsec series
Booked a table for tomorrow in a posh restaurant for GCSE results day... Not cheap but it's once a year and it's a well deserved treat after all the hard work!

I am glad I'm not the only one slumped in front of the TV following a slow cook session ( pork in cider and Midsummer Murder in my case :rotfl::rotfl:)
