Early night. I have three lessons to teach tomorrow and if this cold doesn't develop I'll manage them all.
I'm feeling a bit meh about how well I've done with the budget so far this month versus what my bank account looks like... Hazard of my job and low summer earnings. I'm used to it but I'm a bit gutted that despite being dead good with money and meal planning and sticking to the budget, I'll end up with a deficit this month instead of making overpayments just becasue I haven't brought much money in.
September is better.

This will happen, and you know it will happen. Don't get down about it. There are plenty other months in the year to get sorted. They're the important ones.ChopinonaBudget wrote: »September is better.

Child Benefit has gone in to my bank account today. That could be the last ever, if they decide that my daughter's course is not an 'allowable' under their stupid bloody rules.

Nearly saved myself money by forgetting to eat today... Now eating cheese on toast for um breakfast (?) at 4.25pm before teaching at 4.30pm
I wonder how much I could save by being stupid and consistently forgetting to eat? :rotfl:

It's official. Breakfast is not the most important meal of the day.
