Have tried this. They're asking for a username and password. Any idea how you register for this please?
It doesn't ask me for a username and password. Are you sure it's not a public wifi hotspot that's asking you for login details?

    I'm not using public wifi.

I can enter cities and dates but can't go any further without logging in.

I get the same problem. It happens whether I'm using Safari on my iPhone or Firefox on a Windows PC, so Ryanair aren't sneakily detecting the user agent and blocking iOS devices as mmillie predicted might happen above. It therefore looks like a bug.

the app connects through to m.ryanair.com

the app includes the username and password within its connection therefore making the mobile website only available to those who purchased the app

A con, a joke, pretty much like the Airline. Don’t buy the app, just use m.ryanair.com, its exactly the same! All they have done is wrap the mobile site into an iOS app and charge you £2.49 for the privilege. Utter joke. I can’t understand how Apple have allowed this!? Another money making scheme from Ryanair!

It seems you are both indeed correct. This app is just a joke. Anyone who pays for it should feel stupid for doing so.

For the price we've paid we could have used a good airline.:(

So why on earth didn't you?

I think someone needs to have a dig at Ryanair. They don't seem to me to be a budget airline. I've just booked flights with them (not by choice) for the first time ever, and the price has soared because of all the add-ons. For the price we've paid we could have used a good airline.:(

Aren't you having a dig at Ryanair ?

You've book a flight with them but for the price you've paid you could have used a good airline?

    So why didn't you?

OMG! Ryanair in "not providing an optional service for free" shocker.

I have a Blackberry Tablet which does not allow you to book an online flight. It starts the process but when you move to the password page you get
the page but no password to process. Blacberry have informed me that Ryanair Website is developed for this Tablet and may also affect other makes of Tablet. As Ryanair's website is not customer friendly and do not accept emails no wonder they are blind to their customers requirements and maybe change their LOGO to an Ostrich.

I am convinced MSE has it in for Ryanair, all the travel mods seem to do is berate Ryanair for this reason or that reason. I mean come on, dislike them, but MSE is supposed to be unbiased...... ;)

Looking forward to seeing a 'BA charging 300% than nearest competitor' thread.....

It's hardly their fault that you don't understand the meaning of "no frills" is it. No frills means precisely that, they provide no frills.

If you could have used a "good" airline for that price, then why on earth didn't you...
