You don't hang laundry out every day surely?
You could hang your washing inside or move it to another area if needs be, but cooking smells penetrate clothing too should people not be allowed to cook incase their neighbour has an issue?
You have lived next to smokers before why are you so sensitive now?
I do washing every day, and hang it if the weather is nice enough, saves a lot of money on using the tumble drier.
I dont mind cooking smells etc like I have already explainedShut up woman get on my horse!!!0 -
Where's the toddler when they are out smoking this all afternoon/evening?0

Would you care if they were out smoking cigarettes in their garden, as most smokers do?
The smell of cigarettes is much less pervasive than cannabis smoke.
The school thing would bother me... You don't want a choice between the expense of tumble drying and an SS visit because the teachers think drugs are used in your home.
I hang washing out every day, often more than once. You try doing all the washing for seven people!Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

Social Services will be very interested if there is drug use and a child in the house - I'd contact them I think. The parents have a choice in their drug use - the child doesn't!:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

I agree about the smell...it clings to everything.
I hate the smell and it gives me a headache. Even in my raving days where the drug was rife at the after parties, it took me days to get the smell out of my hair.
I get totally why you are hacked off Kimberly. It's not like fag smoke which goes after 5 mins or so...this lasts forever and it's so distinctive. I would be mortified too if a parent dropped their kid off for a playdate and thought it was coming from my house.
Whilst I agree that it is illegal, the authorities don't seem to deem it as 'bad' as other illegal drugs. Am betting if you told SS that they were shooting up smack and smoking crack in the garden they would be round quicker than you can say foster care!
I hope you get a resolution0 -
Kimberly what did social services say? I'd keep onto them imagine the harm all that cannabis smoke will be doing to that poor child!0
