He was blue and so lovable, I would quite like another bird now but DH doesn't really like birds very much and we do go away quite a bit in the winter so have decided not to have any pets. DH would really like a dog but although I like dogs, they can be a real tie.

I love babies, their little smiles and great big grins when they do something.

Gorgeous little things, until they decide to scream the place down when you want to give them a bath, like mine did when he was a baby.

It is a major achievement in their little lives, so applause all round.

I also had one who hated bath time. as well as getting new shoes too, still does and now in his 20's.

We have the opossite prob in this house my lot all love a bath it's getting them out that is the problem lol. I'm guessing that will change when the boys get older but at the mo they are all total water babies

Think I will have an exciting few days on my hands as he has been up and down on his feet all evening (now fast asleep) so he is loving his new trick.

It's been a week for walking in this house as the other 2 did sponsored walks for charity at school dd1 did 3.5 miles !!! And my little soldier (only 5) did over one and a half miles so proud of them all

Night all getting an early night here ready for usual early start in the morning

CM - well done to your children for doing the sponsored walks, bet they were worn out after they finished them.
