Have a lovely day CL and forget everything else. It is a day for you to enjoy.

AH - enjoy your time at Alton Towers. The thought of those rides terrifies me though.

Jefery - good news about DIAL. Lets hope things continue to improve. I think it is certainly true what someone said earlier this week about those who shout loudest. Certainly was the case with my dear dad, but then again, I can certainly shout!

For anyone who likes beer. There might be a glitch on beer at T's.
Courtesy of Bikingbint(please thank op) on elite 11+ Thread.
See post 2011 and following posts.
Beer should be £9 or 2 for £17, but till appears to be taking off £11 instead of £1
Think someone has gone out to test it now.
This is not working on all beers keep an eye on elite thread for updates.

PM - I understand what you mean by them keep changing your dates. I was watching panorama last night regarding NHS & its appalling to say the least:mad::mad: Free for all:eek::eek: no wonder we are in the "Q":mad:

    Britain's Secret Health Tourists

Panorama investigates how 'health tourists' obtain free NHS treatment they should pay for.
    First broadcast: 03 Oct 2012

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006t14n/episodes/player

I watched it and thought its disgraceful.

My Dh is still waiting for his op:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:, and yet people can come in from abroad and get free treatment.

What makes is worse is that when I have been abroad with family on several occasions we have needed medical treatment and we have had to pay BEFORE we even see the doctor.

My sis hurt her leg and we had to give her credit card number etc and fill in a form in the waiting room with name and address etc. Only after they had checked it out were we allowed to see the doctor and they took the money, over £200, immiediately from the card.

Another time another relative had an accident and even though he was clearly in pain he had to pay before he was seen. He was then transferred (in our car) to another hospital as he needed further treatment and they charged him over £1500 for it, he was only at hospital for a few hours and sent home.

So why can people seem to walk in and get treatment here, but we can't do the same and we have to pay before we even see a doctor.:mad::mad:

CW that is because our governments are coward! rather than charging non-UK resident the proper fee(s) they turned a blind eye! Also, its saying that NHS/ GP are not allowed not to see non-UK resident when they are here and not only that its free for them:eek:

We don't have that privilege when we travel abroad:( Did you see the practice manager taking £££ I wonder how long he has been doing that. If I were to be the NHS minister - I would make him pay every penny that he received from blackmarket. There is no such things as unable to locate the file(s) that was done by him.

What I hate most was when the undercover states that - all those people featured on the programme "may be" prosecuted, I don't like the word " may be" because it always turn out that they get away with it.

I returned goods & I got banned!:rotfl: they take thousands of pounds from foreigners & abused NHS system & they got away with it:mad::mad::mad: this country has no strict law for people to abide to it. There is always some bl00dy human rights get involve with it. Its no wonder why those people like to come here.:(
