Have just come back from Asda and they have DAB radio's for under £40.
I am not very technically minded so I have no idea as to specs etc but for £40 who is going to complain?"And crawling on the planet's face,
Some insects called the human race,
Lost in time, and lost in space,
And meaning"0 -
Saw these at WH Smiths Cribbs Causeway today for £39.95 - I wasn't sure if they were a good deal or not but now I am wishing I had to buy one. They also had a white Alba model for the same price.
If anyone has any experience of either of these I would be grateful for a PM or a review, I may have to get myself back there to buy one.

Bush TR-2003
Peter Wilkins has also given the Bush TR-2003 (priced at just under £100) the once over for Here and Now too: "This radio is battery/mains powered, has ten pre-sets on DAB and a further ten on FM, and is small enough to put in a travel bag. This is a very useful radio to take away with you, as it has no sharp corners, and the case has a rubberised feel to it.
"The set does contain two stereo speakers, though these are rather small and close together. There is also a headphone socket. The radio is easy to use, with all the controls on the top, except the on/off switch, which is on the side, and this is unlikely to be knocked when travelling. The Bush's performance on DAB is very acceptable, but FM is rather poor."Seth.0 -
Hi All
Cheepest I could find this on Froogle was £56 + postage. Bought this morning at the Co-op in Lincoln for £49.99.
Good basic DAB Radio from Roberts. Reception good in my office where FM could not cope with PC etc (horrible whine in background).
Mains or battery. No FM - but does not matter for me- see above.

Hi, just bought a "baby pink" digital radio from John Lewis with alarm clock feature, mains and battery etc. www.johnlewis.com
Absolutely gorgeous and girly. Will look lovely in the kitchen.
They are reduced to £65. I tracked down a £10 off voucher for new customers from a forum and with P and P paid £58.95.
Included is a two year guarantee.
I love John Lewis as over the years if I have had a problem they have refunded/ exchanged with no problems.
