I like this one but whenever you go on a website they are always dubious whether there are any left in stock.

Try in store or call / email them...

If you order and it is not in stock it's no big deal?

    Hi,

Does anyone know of any bargains for pocket DAB radios? The two I'm interested in are the Pure Pocket DAB 1000 and the Philip DA1000 as both have AC input. I have seen a complete range of prices for both as, unfortunately, none of the DAB websites seem to be upto-date.

The Pure was listed on one site as being only £84 from Dixons but it always seems to be out of stock there (I suspect that they dont sell it anymore)

Unbeatable have the DA1000 for £74.99, and there is a trick to get free P&P. Essentially use two browser windows, first open the which affiliated version of the site:

    http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/which

Then open a new window with the radio:

    http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/CatalogueItem_18018.html

Add to your basket, and then use the which window opened earlier to Check out and pay (which should provide free delivery). Haven'y used this trick in a couple of years so they may have closed the loophole. Failing that Amazon have it for £79.99 with free P&P.

  • Bought a Pure Evoke-1 in Currys today for £49.99 - best deal I've seen in the shops recently.

Buy a few shares in Pure (Imagination Technologies IMG) and you can buy up to 5 Pure DAB radios at a big discount.

What is the cheapest way of getting the shares how much are they?
What is the discount? What is the price is there a web page?

Sharp FVDB1 Running off batteries or mains, £44.97 delivered

Noticed Richer were knocking these out... tempting...
£49.95 inc vat collect in store to avoid P&P but then found thishttp://www.robertsons-online.co.uk/get_product_details.asp?P=117042

    THAT IS £44.97 delivered!

You could get Richer to price match if there is a store nearby at least there is no postage to return it!Running off batteries or mains, the Sharp FVDB1 is one of the most flexible portable DABs to date.

All the features you'd expect from DAB, such as direct tuning, radio text and station naming, are there, but with plenty more to boot. Whereas many of the Sharp's rivals offer just a single speaker the FVDB1 is equipped with full-range stereo. For even greater convenience there are even optical digital and analogue outputs - ideal for recording from the radio.

Stylish looks and, of course, an unbeatable price, complete the package and make the Sharp FVDB1 one of the tastiest DAB deals around!

GRADED/Factory Repack: Products refer to ex-display, mail order returns or ex-service products, thoroughly tested and re-sold with a 12 month guarantee.
