Proud to have dealt with my debts.0 -
Barclaycard Platinum Visa - £8,300 (started off with £1,200 when I was 18)
Barclaycard OnePulse - £7,780 (started with £5,000 - I applied for this as it had a Oyster card built in, and thought they would close the Platinum account and transfer the limit over, but was surprised they just gave it to me as an additional card)
Barclaycard Mastercard - £2,200 (started off with £1,000, though the credit limit on my Barclaycard Visa reduced by £1,000)
American Express Platinum Cashback Credit Card - £6,800 and a cash limit £1,360 (started off with £5,100, and a cash limit of £1,020)
Capital One World Mastercard - £10,000 (started with £10,000 - hasn't changed)
Usually use my American Express Platinum Charge Card for everyday expenses (for their Membership Rewards), and use the Capital One World Mastercard, where American Express isn't accepted (for their cashback).
I use the American Express Platinum Cashback Credit Card, whenever they have a bonus cashback scheme going on, as I have to put at least £25 on the card annually, otherwise they'll charge you a dormancy fee.
Barclaycards are rarely used. The Barclaycard OnePulse card (the physical card itself - not the account) is only used as an Oyster card whenever I use public transport in London.0 -

Glad you mentioned the Amex Charge Cards actually as, although I've only just got the Platinum Cashback CC, I was thinking of switching to a charge card after a year (not Platinum as I can't justify the fee so probably gold). How would you rate the Amex member rewards as opposed to simple cash back?0 -
Highest - MBNA - Started at £1200 but kept hitting the limit, which would then be increased until it finally peaked at £7700 - was 29.9% I think too - now thankfully paid off and cancelled
Lowest - Barclaycard - £240 and never used.0 -

Actually I only use the Membership Rewards to collect Avios points, I can't really justify the £450 annual fee though, as I don't really use any of the benefits - I used the concierge service a few times, and the Priority Pass to gain lounge access where I use economy.
I'd probably get more value out of the Gold charge card, or a BA Amex Credit Card. However, I'd probably keep the Platinum card, I got it now anyway, my mum is the supplementary card holder, and she travels a lot and uses the Priority Pass.
Depends really - but it's not really "cashback" it's in the form of credit, deducted off your credit card bill at the end of the (membership) year.
Also consider the cashback cards Capital One has, such as mine, and being a Mastercard, it is more widely accepted than Amex.0 -
Got one with a £12k limit and another with £8k. That's plenty. Don't see the point in a wallet full of credit cards.0

Lloyds TSB Platinum - £3000
Capital One Classic Extra - £500
Aqua Card - £250
Lloyds keep telling me that I'm eligible for a loan from them lol. I don't *want* it lol
I think eventually, I'd like to get a good limit with Aqua/Capital one, and haggle Capital one in to giving me a better card, and eventually close my Lloyds card down unless they can offer me any incentives to stay
Realistically, the only thing that Lloyds gives me is a good credit card limit and the ability for me to build up my credit rating, but the other cards do that as well0 -

Neither do I. I could get rid of three of my cards. - Barclaycard Platinum Visa, and the Mastercard, and the American Express Platinum Cashback credit card.
As I mentioned, I have no outstanding balances and pay off in full, I only use my American Express charge card, and where Amex isn't accepted I use the Capital One Mastercard.
Though I suppose it's handy having it spare credit there in case of (a very big) emergencies.0 -
Cap One, started at £250, just been upped to £3600.
Barclaycard Plat, started at £6500 just been upped to £8900.
JL started at £3500 just been upped to £4800....
All this on ''poor'' to ''fair'' credit scores.
Life is now good
