What Credit Limits Have You Been Given?

in Credit cards
This thread is out of interest more than anything else. Just wondering what kind of limits people have had on their CCs. Be interesting to see the spread from different lenders and times. Not asking about what your balance is, just the limit you were given/increased to. I'll go first:
HSBC - £7200 (Had for about 10 years but rarely used anymore)
Barclaycard Gold - £3000 (As above - closing next month)
First Direct Gold - £3000 (Only opened a couple of months ago)
Amex Plat Cashback - £6600 (New card - largest starting limit I've been given)
Going to be getting rid of the HSBC and Barclaycard in the next couple of months as they don't really offer me anything. I'll use the FD card wherever Amex isn't accepted but I'm thinking of applying for another cash back/reward card later on. As I'm no longer going to be using credit cards to carry a balance I thought I might as well only use ones that benefit me in some way! :-)

1 credit card.
Barclaycard platinum 5.5k
And would get accepted for any other card out there if I really wanted to but quite happy with what I've got while sitting on a very small balance.0 -
Only have one CC which I opened for a long holiday last year. I've kept it open to use online instead of my debit card and pay it off every month.
Lloyds TSB - offered me the equivalent of four months wages:eek: but I took only the equivalent of one month's take home pay.0 -
Nationwide - £2800.0

Halifax Clarity - £4800
Lloyds TSB Avios Duo - £3000
Sainsburys Nectar - £3000
Natwest Platinum - £2450
Creation Cash Back - £2000
Creation Purchase - £2000
Creation Balance Transfer - £1000
Capital One Cash Back - £1000
Now I've wrote them all down, I think it's time to start cancelling some ... 8-/
Pretty much all, other than the Halifax and Cap1 ones have 0% offers on them at present.0 -

Just out of interest, how do you know what you'd get accepted for or not?DFBX2013: 021 :j seriousDFW £0 [STRIKE] £3,374[/STRIKE] 100% Paid off

Lloyds have already offered me a loan & credit card that I've politely refused.
I also haven't had a missed/late payment for 15 years.
I have 7 settled credit card agreements.
I have 1 settled 10k loan aggrement.
I have 1 credit card 5.5k limit with £215 balance.
I have 2 overdrafts total 4k never been touched.
My available credit might go against me but apart from that I believe I am a low risk.

That does seem low risk, but also doesn't mean you'd get accepted for any card.DFBX2013: 021 :j seriousDFW £0 [STRIKE] £3,374[/STRIKE] 100% Paid off
