I have a dream...to be a MFW

I will only know after the phone call this morning. I had been led to believe that if I was recommended this year then I would be on it...I can't help believe someone has been dubbing or not telling me the whole truth. I hope to get some answers today without people telling me what I want to hear!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

I have just set my MFiT-T4 objective, I am going to try and reduce the mortgage to £80k by the end of the three years. I got this one wildly out by about £9k but I have used my spreadsheet and rounded the final figure down by £300 so it should be very achievable.
Seeing as I am checking in here more often now I am going to leave my list of things to do so I can be nagged by you guys if things appear too frequently!

I have £60 in my wallet as I didn't send nearly as much as I thought I would last weekend. I am going to try and only use this until I fly home next Thursday (Christmas presents are being paid from somewhere else), I have over £200 in my current account which may be needed once I get home but I am hoping to use as little of this as possible and put it into savings at the end of the year.
I want to try and set some money challenges so am going to go through my finances and check everything is working for us first. I am feeling positive in money land at the moment, even if other things are a little undecided!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

Well that phone call didn't shed any light on anything apart from working on the West coast of Scotland from September next year which is pretty definite now. I need my boss to do the rest of the ringing around for me now as per work protocols to find out if it is a no never and what the hell is going on. Problem with doing it that way is I won't necessarily get the truth/an honest answer, I am feeling quite disillusioned at the moment. Hoping to chat with Mr AJM in the next 15 minutes to get some support, wish I was going to be home sooner than 9 days.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

Sorry to hear about the work situation, I hope you get some clarity when you have your all later this morning.
Wow - what a to do list!!0 -
Just spoken to Mr AJM so feeling slightly more positive, I just wish I could find out the answers (good or bad) and start to plan my life again, possibly in a slightly different direction. I can't believe that in 9 months I am going to see Mr AJM every weekend, I think it might take some readjusting!
I am going to enjoy some looking about on the internet and then head out at 10.30 to see what I can cross off my list.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

Trying to get the motivation to go for a swim, think I am going to treat myself to a jacuzzi after to encourage me to go!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

I was still undecided about swimming when I left for the pool yesterday and a little way in was worrying it wouldn't clear my head for the first time ever but after 10 minutes I was a lot more settled, I would prescribe it to anyone
only did 30 minutes and then rewarded myself with a sauna and jacuzzi.

In money news
£co payment received today so I have moved it across to my new RS account
I have paid my cheque in, once it has cleared I am going to set it aside. I probably won't be spending it on swimming lessons at the gym anymore as I get these a lot cheaper in coaching sessions as part of a local triathlon club I am thinking of joining.
My daily mortgage interest is now £2.45 and £12.05, I am looking forward to the larger one dropping below £12 in January.
I have £22 to move across to my RS at the end of the month so long as it isn't needed and am hoping there will be more money than this
Today is my penultimate PT session, looking forward to it but a little sad too. I have a lot of events planned for next year that have got me very inspired. I am thinking of starting up a blog that links to my fundraising but don't really know much about it so I am going to read some others to see what I can do.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

I wasn't as organised as I wanted to be yesterday which resulted in not much getting done, I think I may be able to get everything done although I have less than 4 hours but should be able to finish tomorrow.

Last PT session is at 4 today. Didn't enjoy yesterday's as much as normal, it was really hard so hope the last one is better. Maybe it is because I know they are ending.
Off out to a Christmas do that my social group of friends are going to tonight. I only know the table of people I am sitting with so I hope it is a good laugh. It is not too far away so I may be able to disappear if it isn't my thing!
So far Christmas presents are under £200, not sure how much Mr AJM has spent but I have a feeling he will have paid for them from his own money. I am going to work out a budget for next year and put the money away. It hasn't left us short but this is the only thing we don't put away for during the year so I want to make things easier. Mr AJM doesn't always see the point to this so I will need to hide it from him and then surprise him next year when we go shopping and it is effectively all paid for!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700
