    Hi ladies
Lovely sunny morning, first for a little while.
Minor op on ankle done yesterday, had to wait around a while as previous op over-ran, but no hardship doing that in the Nuffield Hosp (Iwas lucky enough to have my case shunted across there by my PCT) besides I had had my predmed and didn't care what they did to me by then:rotfl:. Thankfully no nausea. Will be on crutches for a while so trying to get organised with help from OH, no stairs to worry about, but need to be able to carry my food and cuppa areound when on my own. Best short term option seems to be scooting along on my typists chair!
The on topic bit - I now have a stool by the washbasin and a storage box by my mirror and toiletries to sit on. I may be doing a little on-line shopping, but only a couple of essentials for me, need to order more bits and pieces for the dreaded "C" prezzies.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)

I think I have had my final UU for September - L'Occitane verbena soap. Really liked this and it was also exfoliating with it's leafy bits in it. WBA if it wasn't for the approximately 30 bars of soap under my bed!

I think I have had 12 full sized UU in September and absolutely no spend. All in all a very good month.I may even go for a no spend October too

did okay at coffee morning selling my flowers and a few gift packs of hotel toiletries:)then came home to a letter from Santander saying I had gone £1.09 over my credit card limit:(so they were charging me £12 :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:tried to pay on the phone using my Santander debit card and it was declined:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:told the girl it was a santander account and she transferred the money from my bank account so no idea why the debit card could be declined......I HATE SANTANDER.

re ebay feedback I have been emailing another woman who had neg feedback from doris3037 and she says she had no joy from ebay:(I think doris bought from her and left neg feedback on my account by mistake as it was a month after she bought from me but only two days after from the other woman and she bought Clarins hand cream from us both.

I would contact Santander and ask nicely if they would please refund the £12 charge. If you haven't incurred charges or had them refunded before they will often do this as a goodwill gesture. Nothing to lose by trying.

Get well soon maddiemay - hope you are up and about in no time :)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
Take time but don't waste time

my bank account and credit card were with other banks who were then taken over by Santander, they also took over my Debs account!plus two other accounts have now also been taken over:mad::mad::mad:I did try and get a refund and also a raise in the credit limit as its only £1000 and it is 1 I have just for hols abroad as ML said it was a good one.She said no to refund and I could only get a raise when it is reveiwed every 6 months,so told her I had the card for years and never get a letter saying I can raise it and she more or less said tough!!!I had asked for a refund when they charged me £50 for an going over drawn due to their mistake and even then did not get it....this is why I hate Santander......I will get round to closing the account one day but they keep buying out other banks:rotfl:
  • Rosemary, Santander are awful! tbh, the rest aren't much better!

Hope you feel better soon Maddiemay!

    UU:
Dr Haushka cream cleanser mini - WNBA, FAR too much alcohol in this.
Dr Haushka toner - WNBA, same reason!
REN body lotion mini - WNBA, too expensive for what it is!

Think these will prob be my last UU in September. got a few other sample sizes on the go but a good few days left in them yet!

  • evening ladies,

Maddiemay - hope your ankle heals quickly and your feeling better soon

uu S&G the righteous butter 300mls, an excellent moisturiser but I am utterly sick of S&G, which is unfortunate as I still have bucketloads of it in the stash.

    happy pampering, xo
  • Few UU:

Liz Earle Skin Tonic 100ml - Love it! So refreshing & the smell is really relaxing. I have a few travel size ones to get through then a few other toners to work through but THEN I'll repurchase :)
Clinique Take the Day Off for lids, lips & lashes 150ml - Well it works but it doesn't feel particularly nice. Quite greasy. I'll stick with my big ol' bottle of Bioderma instead.
    CC1 - [STRIKE]£8746[/STRIKE] £2801 71%
