I have 2 more UU today, September is proving to be very fruitful after a very quiet August.

TBS Dewberry body lotion - with all the deals they have on I managed to get this for £1.20 so WBA at this price

    Sure Deo - WBA

now to stash hunt for replacements!
  • Rosemary, I feel for you on that one re the Ebay negative. It really sounds as if she has mixed you up with someone else, or perhaps just is one of those people who has an axe to grind with 100% ers.
My experiences aren't quite on the same level as yours may impact on potential income, but I've had a similar experience. I review a lot of 'stuff' for Amazon, I'm in the Top 100 Reviewers list. I've put toiletries on from time to time, but it tends to be more expensive products than I regularly use that get on there, or tried and tested stuff.

Periodically one of my reviews will attract 'negs', that means people have pressed the No button when asked if my reviews helped them. There's inevitably nothing wrong with the review itself, I've written enough of them to know a bad one, but it's just people trying to cause hassle. This happens most on the stuff I get sent to review for free, whether it's jealousy or not I don't know.

On the plus side, I tweeted about Clare Balding's book on Sunday, read and reviewed it on Amazon and received a thank you tweet from Clare herself. I was very impressed, a National Treasure tweeted me.

On topic, I used the freebie Garnier deo spray a few times, duly completed feedback as requested. Nearly all positive. Then I went for a bike ride and caught a whiff of myself afterwards... argh! It couldn't cope with a bit of perspiration - and it was a bit... Oh well, back to Mitchum.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
  • I have 2 more uu's

Molton Brown pink peppercorn shower gel, wmba - I do like the smell of this shower gel although it is too expensive in my opinion. Luckily my mil usually buys me a bottle for Christmas.

Clarins firm body cream, wnba - this was a free sample and although the cream felt quite nice it had a very strong smell which I wasn't keen on and it was quite hard to get out of the tube.

    No in's so far :D

    A few more UU's today

    94. 30ml Hotel shower gel.

    95. 10ml Lush Charity Pot body lotion.

    96. 150ml Assortedshower gel/body wash combined in pump dispenser to use up.
I would love to get to the 100 by the end of September, but not a chance, 2 weeny splutterers, but everything else is large size.
The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)
  • Hi everyone

    ***waves madly***

I really need to spend more time on this board and less time on grabbits! I just ordered some Elemis stuff with a code from there, in my defense I was a fab deal and I MAY gift it to my mom as part of her Christmas present! ***whispers*** I also ordered some Elemis facewipes to try myself but for £1.99 it would be rude not to :rotfl:

Rosemary - Some people are just mean! I don't think one negative comment will stop people from buying from you if that's any comfort? I always check feedback but I'd still order from a seller with a couple of negatives! :)

I was in a shopping centre with a big Boots and Superdrug today and came out toiletry-free. :D One UU this morning too:

Balance Me wonder eye cream 7ml. This was a Glamour freebie. It was nice to use but WNBA as I don't think actually did anything so it's not worth £20.
  • Since regularly posting on here again, I seem to be on a roll. UU a 15ml sample of REN Hydra-calm day cream, not keen on scent so wnba. Also UU the conditioner which comes with my hair dye and threw away a lip gloss. I hate throwing things away but the lip gloss was making my lips really dry.
    Mortgage Dec 2015 - £21545 Apr 2016 - £19930
    Crazy Clothes Challenge 2016 £79.98/£150
  • Indulged in some REN goodies - the F10 smooth and renew mask, which I love and am part way through my current and only one, so not too much of a sin, and the Guerande Salt Exfoliating Body Balm which was a bit naughty as I have a couple of L'Occitane scrubs unstarted, plus a rose one I brought back from holiday that I am currently using.

They were doing a special offer which gave me the travel kit of the neroli and grapefruit and the morrocan rose shower gels and body lotions and I just couldn't resist - definitely holy grail products and am off on hols in a few weeks. Also got a couple of sample sizes of face products (frankincense night cream and the sun protection) to pop in my travel bag.

I was rather naughty at the weekend and bought the following

No.7 Eye Makeup Remover 100ml - only £3.50 after voucher halfway through open eye Makeup Remover and none in stash
    MUA Nail Varnish - shade 6 6.2ml
    MUA Lip Gloss - shade 5 2.8ml
MUA Lip Liner - pink me up 1
    MUA Undressed Eyeshadow Palette 9.6g
MUA Immaculate Collection Eyeshadow Pallet 16.8g Free GWP

The MUA items only cost me £5 for the lot after taking off £3 from my Beauty Card. I don't usually buy cheap makeup but really wanted to try the Undressed Pallet. I won't ever need to buy eyeshadow again.
