I've been given a fantastic present (as a thank-you)... Lancome Eyes Virtuose.

I'm overjoyed with the present so why do I feel like I've fallen off the 'no buying unnecessary toiletries' wagon?

It's too good to give away but I don't want it to turn into a PRCP!

feeling very annoyed as someone has left neg feedback about me on flea bay:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:I sold her a 30ml boxed hand cream (Clarins)which was perfect and only charged the amount of postage it cost me and yet for unknown reasons she has put "will never buy from this seller again"WHY????I have filled in a form on flea bay to challenge this and emailed her but she does not have to do anything and as I have already left feedback for her I cannot comment on it.Anyone else had this?I am very upset as have been on fleabay for years with 100% feedback and am now 95%...I always notice peoples score so am sure it puts buyers off.
  • Hi Rosemary54... I think the buyer should have justified this kind of comment. Hopefully they got you confused with another seller and didn't mean this for you. Good luck getting to the bottom of it.

That is horrid, she should have complained to you first if she had a problem. I hope that people are like me and always look at neg feedback against a buyer in case there are serial complainers about, before I decide not to buy from them.

BTW I have almost finished my REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask and love it, I will buy more at some stage, but it is £18 and I have spent my allowance big time (bought loads of nail polish too). Made a mask with Kaolin and Rosewater/Glycerin and Rose Absolute, so will have to use that for a week or two.

  • I forgot to report my will power moment of the weekend... maddiemay your post reminded me. I picked up two nail varnishes in Boots, wandered round for a bit then put them back by convincing myself I already had similar colours. I left the store without anything.

Last night I painted a dab of each nail varnish on the back of a business card so that I can compare the colours I have with any I might be tempted to buy out and about. And to remind myself that I have a good array of colours and don't need more!

I had a similar situation myself once. You can respond to the feedback via community I think. If there has been no correspondence from her to you complaining about her purchase ebay should remove it for you. You do come into contact with some complete nutters when you sell on ebay regularly unfortunately.

Thats a lovely gesture Wondercollie - where the heck do people get off??!!!!
Can only apologise for a few of my facebook stati tonight people - for those of you who dont know, the thing I asked for legal advice about back along was that my ex had borrowed money off me (£650!!) and I havent seen a penny of it back. tonight i spotted him on fb the same time as me. so i messaged him asking if he was well, and saw that hes planning a holiday in ibiza next week - so i put a message on his wall questioning if as hes off on holiday I can expect him to start paying me back the money i leant him... unsuprisingly hes now unfriended me on there, and i didnt get any reply at all.....
Just thought with all the new friends ive made from here - i may well come over as slightly unhinged with the cryptic messages - there was a reason, and now i shall rise above and not mention it again. whilst knowing that Karma will play her part at some point :)

Oh trudij that sounds just like me - ex OH had £80 and a high value item (long story) of mine and did a bunk, left me and never to be seen again. It sent me on a huge circle of depression for a few years. Thankfully through chance met an old friend from school and got together with him. Been very happy ever since.
However ex, I do know is still about, and is quite brazen with mutual friends. Horse has been sold  so that's two lots of money he owes me, however I couldn't (and still face) confronting him so he's got off scott free. I do hope that karma will catch up with him.

Anyway back on topic, have cut the end of a Time DElay hand cream that I got a few yaers ago when they were reduced and points in the Boots magazine made it free. It has SPF 15 which I really think is a good idea for hands and also a nice scent so WBA. :)
Life is a coin, you can spend it anyway you wish, but you can only spend it once.
Go as far as you can see, and when you get there you'll see further.
