Yes I liked it its got a very strong Lemon scent (couldn't smell the Basil I'm afraid) very refreshing. I know some people don't like certain lemon scents, so it might not be for everyone.

I'm on the Vanilla Cinnamon one now, can't smell the Vanilla, but it has a very strong Cinnamon scent, could smell it all the way to work this morning.

I loved the Body butter as well had the Guava one, which one was in your set? The set I have is the best of Korres got it for my birthday earlier in the month just have the mosituriser and the eye cream to try now.

I like citrus, the lemon/basil sounds good for mornings! My set is Fig shower gel and body butter and a little while ago I had the Kumquat, also gorgeous.

Have you ever seen anyone spend so much on a shower gel.

I don't care how rare it is
Wasn't this discontinued 10 years ago? Don't fancy using a product that old on my skin. It must be off! And that is not the only thing that's off - the buyer must be off their head spending that amount of money.

Suidreams - hope your feeling better soon.

Valm - I can't believe how quickly the time is going in. Good luck for Monday in the new job.

PYOTNT - Nails Inc Leicester Sq - Dark purple

Getting my hair cut today as it needs a bit of a tidy up. Anyway time to shuffle off to bed.

    Have a nice weekend!

i had a look the other day, the food stuff seemed ok, wouldnt pay full price for it though! i may have a look on our traditional boxing day 11am trip to Boots :rotfl: not much in the way of toiletries though. i think boots have kind of shot themselves in the foot with the 3 for 2. the first few years, we all thought it was brill getting one free but now everyone knows it from boots and cant help think "was i the free one then?" to every one you get.

I know what you mean although I'll admit I always worked my Secret Santa at work into it lol. I hope one of the more expensive Gok sets is an OOTW as I'll get one for Emma but otherwise we've agreed we are not buying gifts this year as we are having Emma's bedroom fitted for her present.

Some in's to declare I'm afraid!

3x Champneys Thai Royale Body Polish, got a great deal on these in Boots, reduced to £2.50, on 3for2 and a 400pts coupon - effectively £1.

Beauticology Gingerbread/fudge/chocolate bath set - part of the Boots xmas range, £4. A big Philosophy rip off but I thought I'd give it a shot.

No7 wipes, No7 eyeliner and No7 nail polish in a berry colour (on trend apparently).

Dirty Works Body Butter sample, smells pretty good

The Beauticology range is such a blatant copy of Philosophy that I'm surprised that Boots can get a way with it. This may be something that I look out for in the sale.

Thank you maddiemay. I feel such a sense of relief that I have got out of the bad place that I was working.

I have acquired 12 bottles of nail lacquer this month. Can't really consider it as unnecessary spending as they pretty much are all unique colours that I didn't own before with maybe the exception of the two new nudes I got (Don't Pretzel My Buttons (this is very similar to $OPI Dear Diary and Berlin there Done That). Am wearing Fly and Metallic 4 Life now. I didn't think I would like fly but it does look lovely on.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    morning ladies

Hope you are feeling better this morning Suidreams

uu Liz Earle botanical body creme - wasn't wildly keen on the scent, reminded me of putty for some reason, did a reasonable job as a moisturiser but probably wnba as there are many others I prefer.

also need to declare an IN - L'occitane conditioner for sensitive scalps, I had been given a sample of this instore and couldn't believe how soft and shiny my hair was after one use so I decided to indulge

also read last night that Marie Claire is giving away l'occitane hand cream with their next issue (in 4 different scents) so that will be an IN or 4 in October!

    happy pampering, xo

  • Hello all - maddiemay - hope you are feeling better. Trudij - sorry about Red. Hugs to anyone I have missed.

VALM -0 good luck for Monday.

Dropping by with what I think will be my last UU of the month -

Boots No 7 caramel lip liner - like this as it is a propelling pencil so no need to bother with sharpners. No need to buy more yet but will seriously consider Boots No 7 when I do

Clinique foaming rinse off cleanser - WBA, isn't drying, nice and soft and lathers well

    S&G clean on me -
finished at last - wouldn't buy again - lasts too long and the scent is a bit too sweet for me (altho think I have at least 1 more to UU)

Bobbi Brown extreme party mascara - WNBA quite disappointed in this - didn't give good coverage IMHO.
