I *think* I've signed up, hope I did it right!
EDIT:
Take it back, did it wrong. I updated the amount I want to get to through OPs, forgetting that I'll also be paying my normal monthly amount too! How do I update my target value?
Hey Calfuray, I did exactly the same thing! My new total looks a lot better than my original one now I've included my normal paymentsSlow progress is better than no progress.

Just updated my start figure and target figure.
I'm £500 below my original start point :j at £171,501 and i've made my target a nice rounded figure of £125,000.. This first year I'll be trying to pay off my family loan (which is part of the total figure) of £10,395 plus a bit more into savings to offset the mortgage.
Good luck everyone on the challenge, can't wait to see our first person to pay off their mortgage.
Thanks once again FB for running it all!Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Have updated my starting balance to £106316 (down from original of £107,000) as at 12/12/12. Target still £80,000.
However have made cheeky OP today of £60 from survey earnings, this wasn't deliberate - had forgotten target started yesterday!
Many thanks FB - and have a lovely Christmas:xmastree:Re-mortgaged 20/04/12 MTiT-T3 No.7Start balance £89611.10 + £22500 = £112111.10/Current balance £85436.53

Hi all,
Is this the first OP of the challenge or not? Anyone do any overpayments on the 12th?
I considered opening a savings account on 12th and putting £50 in (QuidCo cashback), but paid it off my credit card debt instead...

I got through the T2 updates that were there at the time, then progressed on to this.
Managed not to notice that the forums went down for maintenance at midnight so was logged out. I'm on a Christmas [STRIKE]drunken stooper[/STRIKE] meal this evening from about 4pm, so I'm guessing that any updates are going to wait until tomorrow if you want them doing accurately...
I actually got most of the way through the updates - if you check chart 01, your details may already be there. As per usual, I'll PM the newcomers when I get the time.

Hi all no.18 on MFI3-T3 challance with an opening total of £18,650
I am an oldie from the MFI3-T2 and finished on target 12/12/12. I signed up in 12/01/09 when the challenge didnt even start for 11 months then battled away from 12/12/09 - 12/12/12, i cant believe i managed to do it but i will say it was the challege that kept me going and spurred me on, even in the last year where things seem to drag. There is the occasional urge to throw in the towel and live a little bit more but i would rather pay now and live a lot in 2015. Anyway keep it up no matter what the overpayment is or even if you are in the red!
I intend to clear my whole mortgage but have £2300 outstanding on a credit card so i will concentrate on that and by may/june really start overpaying to the mortgage!
Welcome to the newbies and remember every £1 paid saves you £3 later£14, 500 to go0 -
Are we updating as and when we make OPs or on the 12th each time?MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
