The Mortgage Free in Three - Take 3 challenge (MFiT-T3)

Just submitted my update via google docs (balance £22355) - I've caught up a bit since last update and think I'm now about £200-ish from where I *should* be at this stage, which I should claw back by Dec's update
S'been a bit of a struggle at times with DH being out of work for most of a year at one point, but we should hopefully manage to just clear it all by the very end of this challenge

Well, update sent....... no idea where my opening target came from though as I said I wanted to clear all mortgages but opening balance was 30k too low
. Anyway, balance now is 37,137, hopefully will be 0 by 12/12/15 :T.
Looking forward to seeing everyone else's progress :j.
As always, thanks FB, hope all is well with you .A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hello
New to this. Have been concentrating on clearing all other debts as per Martins excellent advice, and have been working really hard to overpay since April this year. Overpayments on 60,000 mortgage are currently £540 per month. I am waiting for the annual statement to arrive almost as much as Christmas! How sad am I?? I'd love to join your list for 2010.

Tesco Points Addict was another name from that time I don't see anymore:(, course we can't get rid of gallygirl and her mob!, what happened to mortgage free street - do any of you remember that? Right, time to refocus, it's been emotional:rotfl::beer:Completely Debt Free 2009:j

TPA is alive and kicking in real life with 2 lovely doggies.
Aw, the street was fun while it lasted. I loved my big, white Art Deco house at the end of the cul de sac - you know, the one with direct access to the private cove.

Yes, the challenge is still running. FB has not been so active but he also has not missed an update since the challenge started. The form to complete is at the bottom of post 4 and you can say which chart you are updating when you are in it.
The up to date chart 6 is at post 1027 and we are all updating chart 7.
It must be hard, staying involved and motivated when you have achieved your goal. People's focus changes as time goes by.
I am sure that if he does not come back, someone will pick up the organisation and take over the spreadsheet, but he is not late yet.
