Hi I would like to join the new 3 year challenge. I am number 58 on the current challenge. My mortgage in December should be about 53000 but I will update you on the actual balance at the start of the challenge. I want to pay off the mortgage completely by December 2015.

    Thanks

    canne

Ooh - pretty much same starting balance for me and the same objective to clear it all - so I'll be looking out for your posts in particular! :D

  • Hi FB, sorry, I've deleted some from my PM box now. I did put my objective on here and also sent it when I registered for this challenge using the new Google docs form so I'm assuming you didn't get it? Not to worry, so I'll do it again and also drop you a PM too.

Thanks for doing this all over again, you are a glutton for punishment :D

    Regards
    ATT

Oh, so you did. I perhaps was looking at someone else's entry when I updated yours. I'll adjust shortly.

  • Currently no 189 on the MFiT-T2 challenge - if I can keep this number that would be great - alternatively number 89?

Oops. Didn't spot that at the time and you got the next number. As we get close to 89, I'm sure we could swap.

Did any one particularly want no. 52 :D

  • Hello all, after failing spectacularly failing on MFi3-T2, but sorting out financially issues in the household in that time, we are in a much better position for this challenge.
We are being much less ambitious than we were in the last challenge but hopefully this will be a bonus if we do well.
Provisional figures atm £177500 to £165000 so reduction of £12500. That is still £347 pm reduction needed, and we won't be able to start getting anywhere near that for at least 9-12 months, but want the target to stretch us some what.
    So good luck everyone.

I thought I had seen the dates 2012-2015 somewhere but then the other thread came up and I thought I was being stupid! Can I join please? I want to get my large mortgage down under £100,000 currently at £139456 but will be lower by the time I start the challenge.

I have just completed the form, correctly I hope!

    MFiT-T7 No. 6 £2873.51/£30,000
  • Evening. Well I've taken my eye off the ball a bit here. Not the way I intend to run the challenge. Got lots going on just now. Apologies. Things will improve. Honest :o

Now on to recent registrations. Are as follows:

    66. canne. Completely clear my $52,000 mortgage.
    67. PetitePeche. Reduce my mortgage from £151,097 to £110,000.
    68. FreedomGirl. Build up my savings from £0 to £99,999.
    69. Welshlassie. Reduce my mortgage from £177,500 to £165,000.
    70. ajmoney. Reduce my mortgage from £135,932 to £100,000.

Canne - I know you asked for 52, but that went a little while back. Happy with 66 instead?

If not, PM or post here and I'll see what I can do. I'll just PM you all so you're aware you have a number now and you're officially "in".

As ever, any mistakes, feel free to point out my stupidity...
