  • Prices rise by the most in over two years, on top of all the other positive indices lately, and you still typed that with a straight face....

    Well done!

Epic propaganda effort! Brit would be proud...

    Oh Gosh!!

    You really believe it:rotfl::rotfl:

You really do believe that one months data is enough to convince you, well thats another nail in the coffin to serious debater Hamish's reputation.

Will be saving this thread for the next couple of months Hamish, but you still won't see a jumping for joy post from me over one montha data that shows falls(as in the past), and they will come.

Anyway, I work, so have a great day posting you guys:wave::wave:

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

All this is, is a sign that the economy is still in a bad place and nothing to sort it out is working. Its going to be a long slog

On another website dedicated to Houseprices, the members are running around like the Fakawi Tribe *

*The Fakawi tribe. They are only three feet tall. Unfortunately, the grass where they live is four feet high, so they spend their lives jumping up and down letting people know they are there, shouting out "We're the Fakawi, we're the Fakawi !"

I see the nationwide is Hamish`s preferred index again!

If the nationwide continue to have wild swings such as -0.8 (revised down from -0.7 last time) to +1.3 this month it will be like the Halifax. Not worth listening too.

I notice that the average FTB mortgage term is now 28 years.

don't continue to live with mummy and daddy while you expect a crash of 50% imminently so you can buy a house on paypal. Or is that Brit?

For the record I still see a beginning of a downward trend, time will tell.

Come on Homeless...it's a 1%+ rise. That's a large rise for nationwide. Have to accept defeat this month in terms of your thoughts.

Theres no real way of explaining this or trying to turn it around onto it's head. It's up, and up a large amount.

Having just looked at the report....why is the average length of the FTB mortgage now 28 years?

30 year mortgages would surely be a bit like hens teeth?! Yet this suggests more than half of FTB's are taking on 30 year mortgages?!
