Morning all
I'm late on here today, washing's on the line & more in the machine, hubby's been dropped at work with his packup & the fish have been fed.
I have a friend coming over for a cuppa later, I think I'll make some flapjack to offer her.
I need to vacuum downstairs today & scrub the toilets, all such fun.
I'm back at work on Tuesday but no idea what I'm supposed to do as my room is still trashed & the builders have been told to leave it 'til last as it's not important!

Can you get to an Ikea store? Their really cheap fleeces are not usually sold online but you could check if they are in stock before going there so you don't have a wasted journey.

Sunny here but felt cold last night and it got dark much earlier. Apart from a good week or so in Spring we don't seem to had had Summer at all. Think I will start taking vit D again as I feel really grumpy and fed up.

Bread is in breadmaker and is a rapid loaf so fingers crossed it works. Have leftover carrot and lentil soup so me and DH will have that with slice of the bread for lunch. DD took a portion of yesterday's lasagne in a plastic tub to reheat at work for her lunch today and youngest has not surfaced yet. Builder is busy drilling and sawing in bathroom and can't wait for it to be finished.

Rummaged in freezer for YS goodies for tonight and came up with meatballs (49p) and fishcakes (99P instead of £3) and will use up some frozen fish to bake tonight as well as green beans.

Lovely here so washing is in the machine but I haven't been outside to feel the temperature yet. Cleaning here today and have promised OH cake......oh well it is a blue moon tonight LOL!

Chicken kievs tonight for tea as OH fancied them with some sort of potato, salad and peas.

Kind words and hugs to all who need them. Sending good luck vibes to anyone starting a new venture, or looking for a job.

RR-I very rarely have migraine(even less since I finished working at the school )but when I do it involves visual disturbance and funny speech.My DDad was the same,though he had far more than me.

I am home alone for once,nice and peaceful Its a lovely morning :jhope its like this for DH cousins wedding tomorrow.Today is getting stuff ready to wear for that,DSons are sorted,just need to iron shirts,but have no idea what DH will wear.Asked him last night,he didnt know either :mad:.Hope he doesn't show us up:rotfl:

Hardly did anything in the house yesterday as DB and little niece came over for their last visit of the school hols;then just before they left,big niece brought DGN over for me to mind for a couple of hours.Took him on the park where he toddled and ran to his hearts content.
Had to tell him off when we got back as he had a paddy when I shut the door(loves being outside)and was going to bash Leo :eek:Last week he pulled a handful of fur off him(ok he is moulting so looked worse than it was)but we are worried that because L and their own dog are placid he will think he can be like that with any dog .I'm afraid I said No quite forcefully,but it stopped him in his tracks(and the paddy:D)Leo is really good with children ,but he is getting older and you just never know.

The only OS taking place today is making some soup out of the stock I had frozen,some broccoli & blue cheese that is a bit dried up now.I can have that for my lunch.Won't take long in the pressure cooker.Oh and dig some tea out of the freezer

WM still whirring but hope to get washing on line today - without having to rush to get it in again when the rain falls!
Was really cold last night - had to cover the duvet with my dressing-gown!
Need to get myself motivated to do something - plenty I could be doing, but here i sit...

Tru that washing bin is very similar to mine – it lives in the bathroom, and doubles as a seat for me while I'm getting dry.

Judi when Mr LW worked in Rugby, I made the mistake of sending a batch of Welsh tartlets for him and his colleagues to share; thankfully he didn't give anyone my phone number, but he did keep relaying requests for more cakes.:eek:

RosyRed far better to tell DGN off forcefully when he does something to Leo than him do something to a random dog elsewhere and get bitten!:o I hope poor Leo is OK.:D

Had a bad night last night – bl00dy nightmares again.:( I think the trigger was the pub last night – Mr LW wanted to go out for a quiet pint, and we bumped into a rather obnoxious chap who usually drinks in a totally different pub. He's one of these people who thinks he knows everything, loves the sound of his own voice, and will loudly tell you the answers to the T3l3graph crossword whether you want him to or not.:mad: Anyways, bumping into someone unexpectedly in a “wrong” place always unnerves me.:(

Mr LW has a Late shift today; but being the end of the month, he thinks there won't be anything much to do, so he should be away at 18:00. :oWe've got l/o Shepherd Spy to nuke and eat, in any case.;)

feeling a bit !!!!!! off , DD2 is winding me up a treat as only a 16 year old can :cool: however i have found solace in a bag of giant buttons

DH is out tonight at a work collegues house , he has to bring the appetisers, he was going to go to marks to pick up some packs of stuff, however i have pulled out the os trump card and told him to go to l!dl and pick up some olives ,cooked meats and cheese . i have 2 disposable trays with compartments in that i bought for xmas last year and never used :money:hopefully it will be a much cheaper option than the the pre packed ones from M+S

Been busy this morning! Have my hairdressers' little girl today, once more before school goes back.:)

Got some ebaying that I have bought arrive today. Very pleased with it all!
Lovely day in Hastings, but a bit chilly, Autumn is on it's way and Summer isn't even here:o

OH over later, and I am doing a mystery shopping job at a restaurant. No money, but a free meal instead!:T

Going out twice over the weekend too, will have to watch what I eat, not blowing the diet now!

Sunny here but chilly too.

Busy morning in work assessing files, and got some new recruits coming in later. But then we are off out tonight for my colleague's leaving do :j. I am sad she is going but looking forward to a good night out. She loved her presents (bottle of Malibu and make-up gift voucher), and bought us an orchid for the new office.

OS wise - dishes washed, house tidied, lunch made.
