I rand NHS direct as my partner works nights and I don't want to drag all the little ones out to A and E and it turns out to be nothing and they don't seem overley concerned, saying he has probly jarred it, and I just need to keep an eye on him and wake him every 2 hours to check his responses.

Has anyone else heard of this happening?

Go here and halfway down is a pdf factsheet for minor head injuries and what to keep an eye out for. Its for adults but also applies to children with some obviuos exceptions. Or so I was told on my first aid course a couple of weeks ago
