Opened the flexclusive Regular saver on the 10th Online. Received email same day saying account open and would be online within 5 days.
Well, it's still not showing up!
Sent 2 'Secure Messages' over the last 10 days, to which I've had no reply - do they even read them?? - nothing in the post either.
Anyone else not got the account showing up online??

I don't really know what you're worrying about. The account should be backdated to the date you made the application, so you are not losing out on interest.
Have you received any paperwork confirming its open?

Have you tried phoning them to make sure there was nothing wrong with your application?
Double check the online confirmation to make sure it was all accepted and give them a call if it's still not showing by the end of the week. Savings £18,000 / £25,000 :beer:0 -
If you read the main thread on this account you'll see this is common and the opening will be backdated.0

I opened an online ISA and got no email confirmation and nothing in the post but the account has just shown up in my online control panel.
Opened an online saver with them as well - again no email confirmation but hopefully this won't be too far behind either.
Slightly different applications:
ISA opened without me having to input an amount to be taken from my Flexaccount.
Regular Saver stipulated how much should be taken from my Fleaxaccount but this amount has not been taken yet.
I am guessing the Regular Saver is much more popular than their ISA and they might have a queue of applications to process.

hi
i had the same problem, so i phoned them after 10 days, they had no record of my account, so had to open another one, if its not showing in your account after 10 days ring them,0 -
We opened a joint Flexclusive regular saver, interest rate 6%, at a Nationwide branch office yesterday, and were advised it would be completed within 5 - 7 days. The first amount was taken using our Flex account debit card.
When I checked this morning the money had been transferred from our Flex account.0 -

There will not be any communication by post it is all via email.
Mine showed up online within a week of the application.
Has the opening deposit been taken from your Flexaccount? That happened within 2 working days of me applying. If so the debit from your Flexaccount will have the account number of the regular saver in the reference field on your online statement.0 -
i think its when its opened on line, thats when you might get a problem0

I haven't had any problems. I opened mine online the day the account was launched (or it might have been the following day) and the account showed up after about a week, I think.0

I am assuming a monthly payment is anytime in a calendar month so you can make one before the 31st August to qualify for this month and then one on 1st September 2012 and all further payments on the 1st as well.
Although I appied this month it looks like my first deposit isn't going to be taken by the end of today so I will already be slightly behind. I think they should take the first deposit on the day of application - you have to indicate it on the application online.
Unless of course they backdate the deposit entry date. Has anyone with an account seen this happen?0
