Afternoon
Been to Asd@, so much for cutting back spent double my normal weekly bill. I am hoping though that I have got enough for 2 weeks worth of packed lunches, DS starts college next week, also bought quite a bit more for DD uni boxes, we think she has most things, couple of family members have said they will donate too.
Elona know what you mean about very small rooms, not as big as she currently has at home, not sure where she will put everything, her shoe collection alone will fill it and we will have to pay more than my yearly salary for the pleasure
OS Got BM out of storage so have lovely HM bread today, bought bits while shopping to make more of it too. May even attempt a cake in it, not tried before, not sure how successful it will be, its worth a try though. Any tips gratefully recieved. WM done, DW done, pasta bake in the oven. Bought my first Christmas present today
I like to be organised and as am usually busy in Dec like to get as much as possible done early. Bought cards, paper and crackers in January sales so am feeling quite pleased with myself. Will start buying ingredients for christmas cake next week, ready to make in Oct. At leastl looking outside it doesnt feel like summer so not to bad to be doing Christmas things.

Ended up serving lasagne early as dd was going out and frantically handsewing the dress she wanted to wear as the shoulderstraps and detailing was fraying. Sewing black thread on fine black material in a rush was real fun and my eyes are still wavering! DD very pleased so worth it.
Decided when shopping next week to concentrate on duvet cover and fairly light stuff and leave things like duvets and pillows till later.
Can't believe she will be moving mid September

Evening all
Sorry I have read thread but not taken anything in, hope you are all well.
Today I had 2 more new recruits in work, and then went to Barry to see a presentation in place of my boss as she had to go elsewhere. The kids presentation was good, and afterwards me and my colleague went to find Gavin&Stacey's house :rotfl: and went to the seaside to have an ice cream before we came home.
After work I went shopping to get a leaving gift for my colleague, as her secondment has finished and she goes back to the Navy on Monday. I will miss her lots as we have become good friends since January. I bought her a bottle of Malibu (her fav drink), and a £30 gift voucher for her favourite make-up brand. Hoping she will be happy with that! She is off on ships for next 2 years so didn't want to get her anything bulky. We are going out straight from work tomorrow, and 3 of the girls are staying over at mine so I need to sort out the spare beds.
Nothing remotely OS apart from a quick tidy and wash the dishes.
Have a good evening all

evening or perhaps I should say morning
No os today really apart from washing a few pots and pans. took ds1 to enrolment at a college which is local but would take about an hour on local transport so not sure if he is going to go there.
Am feeling really tired, need to go to bed earlier as I am now working more hours. Feeling a bit stressy as I am back at work dh is working from home and both my ds have been there too. I think it is a bit noisy for him, before we got married he was used to living alone for about 10 years.
anyway enough waffle.
BB - I see your looking forward to school resuming as you are counting down the days. Me too.
Bitsy - sending postive vibes that your dh finds something soon. Has he thought about working in a college/university as I have a couple of sites that may be of some use. Let me know if you want them, will pm them to you.
Not taken anything else in. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.0
